Interesting show. It would be great to see Revit Rebar Modeling Masterclass in the future.

Never thought a class on concrete would be so interesting and useful!

Was excited to see how that step tag works but alas cant get it functioning. Guessing a shared parameter issue

Since it is not a tag but a Generic Annotation I assume there is an IUpdater in their Addin

PLEASE DO A SESSION FOR REBAR TRICKS.
overlapping rebars in Revit is very time consuming

@Revit Pure Thank you so much. I'm always having problems with my projects deadlines 🙃.

Thanks, solves many of my problems. One query regarding framing member 'edge beam' with an angled side. In plan view I would ideally like to show just a single hidden line at the base of the beam, but in a detail show the taper. I edited your family to have a rectangular beam in coarse and medium view. A tapered profile in fine view. This gives a single line in a plan view. And in a detail the beam neatly joins into the floor - no separating line. When I switch to fine view in the detail, the beam and floor do not join - I get the edges appearing. Is there a setting to have the floor and beam join in the detail?

I would recommend contacting Kevin on BIM Advantage website for more info on this!

It is a concrete modeling consulting business, but they also have a plugin!

It is shocking to use structural framing for foundations. I assume that changes the way to export to IFC or set classifications codes

We haven’t needed to export to IFC. We work directly for concrete builders so that gives us flexibility in developing the most efficient modeling practices possible.
