It's very Steampunk looking .. like a suitcase with a giant watch face with a big keyhole. It's beautiful!
Hahah 😂 thanks for the plug Adrian !
👍😎
Hey Jay, you gotta get down to Canada and visit Adrian. This would be an outstanding video and collaboration!!!
Adrian Is strong as hell. No joke right there son.
I was not bored and I have been waiting for Adrian to have the three levels of DD. I cannot wait to visit.
Come by anytime
I love these unboxing videos :)
Thanks
Alison has a great smile. More of that pretty please 😊
I love how they look I bet they sound amazing all I need now is a million dollars and two plane tickets to Canada
Totally out of my league but Dan makes the best looking gear - I think it probably sounds pretty good too!
It really does
This component could go to the Moon and back! Safely…When you two lifted the unit my back hurt!
Ours too!
Gorgeous!
AMAZING!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! BEAUTIFUL!!! N°1 ✓✓✓✓
Whoa! This and the other unboxing videos should be a Netflix series like Drive to Survive. Audio Excellence unboxings have suspense, humor, intelligence, contrasting cast of characters, and resolution of tension. Keep these coming, Adrian!
Wow! Thanks!,🙏
Wow, that's one stunning amp! Dan should get some models made for selling as audio jewellery. Thanks for sharing and looking forward to your impressions. Next purchase - Dartzeel 468 monos!! Enjoy your new toy.
Great stuff. Thanks Adrian🎉
My pleasure!
Job description: Must be able to lift 350 lbs. 😂. Amazing amp!
😂😂😂
An Italian Beast with super Ferrari grade aluminum block, ready to go.
However I'm getting hungry as that front meter reminds me of...how many
slices of prosciutto did you want? LOL!
Thanks for sharing.
My pleasure
Awesome.
Love these unboxing videos!!❤
Thanks
Hell yeah!
It is not a real unboxing… that the Adrian’s différence… he gives also all the info about the product.🎉
Appreciate the kind words
Very impressive - yes please compare the power amps in the range and provide guidance on which to match to which speaker -- sonus Faber and Wilson ranges.
Ohh my God... Used to sell Krell years back, but this is on another level.
Congratulations
Thanks
Nice work Adrian!
Love, Love, Love it Adrian!!! don't worry about what anyone else tells you. I love these unboxing videos.😅👍🎧
You must be still REALLY young … so to say!
@bikemike1118 Well, im 53, and I think I'm still pretty young.🙂
@@shanestephenson8423 congrats, me too ✌🏼 . But still I find unboxing videos somehow „childish“.
I‘m more interested in how good these things sound.
@bikemike1118 I've heard them at the Melbourne Hi-Fi show. I covered it on my channel. I just find the D'Agostino amps a little dry and clinical. But I am splitting hairs they are still amazing. But I guess they'd want to be for the money you've got to stump up to buy them.🎧🙂👍
@@shanestephenson8423 …dry and clinical… okay. Compared to what?
What sounds less dry & clinical to your ears? 👍🏼
always fun..keep it up
Thank you
Keep the unboxing videos coming please!
lol. Be careful what you wish
It's very beautiful. I wish the company would make a similarly designed amplifier which was a lot lighter and only say 100 watts or so.
195k. THE ultimate Snake Oil. It’s what Paul is famous for !
Rich guy stuff
Adriaan, 😂😂😂 I love your sense of humor 🤣🤣🤣
The three musketeers or the three stooges 👊👊👊
Have fun guy's and Lady's 🎶🎶🎶👌
Thanks!
Adrian, great video, as always. I am curious, with the recent Integrated Amp comparisons, did you order, have you heard the new DD MxV Integrated?
Not yet
Very nice. Jeeeeeeeeezz
Fantastiše
Adrian “Beef Cakes” man handling that Amp!!!
Mmmmmmmm - I think I will be visiting on Friday ( I have to get over to Microland for a pickup )
Saw a pair of these in a shop this week, you won’t believe how big they are until you see them IRL
🎉🎉Uncrating!🎊🎊 Can't wait for unshippercontainering!
Hehe
art deco ish. prefer it over the gryphon design. monos are the way to go in this rarified air. cant believe the 3 of you got that thing on the stand. show us the blooper reel. i imagine they cold drive my lrs plus to reasonable volumes
Cheers on another awesome acquisition Adrian! Looking forward to the review, and comparison to the Gryphon Apex. Here's to someday seeing the Relentless 1600's also make their way into your room - the price match to the XVX's!
Sidebar: is there any way for a consumer to finance these six-figure HiFi purchases? In all seriousness, I realize these are getting into the range of money where loans become known as mortgages.....and that HiFi components don't provide the bank with the kind of collateral for the loan that a house would. Has anyone heard of a commercial loan product specifically geared toward these six-figure non-home, non-car consumer purchases?
Not that I’m aware of. We work with a company that finances up to $10,000 cdn
This type of gear is firmly in the realm of "If you need to ask how much it costs, you can't afford it", much like any super-car where the manufacturer invites pre-qualified individuals to consider their offerings.
To put it bluntly, if you have to take out a loan to buy any of this stuff you shouldn't even be dreaming about it. Your money is better spent on things within your budget.
Captain Nemo had it on the Nautilus!
Adrian, sorry for an off topic question.
I was wondering if you are sponsoring another intern this year ?
I know it helped me. I would like to see you continue the program.
Thanks for asking. Perhaps in the summer.
Hi Adrian, I know you are busy, but when will you share your opinion about the second h600 and a possible correction of the previous opinion?
I did the unboxing of apex monos only my own
Beautiful ! For some reason, resale of his amps are horrendous... I would wait a couple of year and get it at half price !!!
❤it’s beautiful but what’s under the hood?
It’s like watching “BABES in TOYLAND”!! Hey Adrian, can that power cord be upgraded ?
Yes, just ask your favorite cable company
This nervousness of the power needle …would make me nervous too when listening to music 😕
That was due to the dynamics of the track. Shocking that we were using peaks over 800
Missed opportunity. I wish you would have shown the power cord ends. Try googling an image of this amps power cord. It's tough to see. I was surprised by the c15 connector. I thought the wall side would match the amp side. I was expecting a 240volt connector on both ends. I guess they went the common route. Is there an explanation? Thank you 👏👏
You can specify what end you like from D’Agostino.
Adrian, when will you unbox and review the NAGRA line of Audio Components?
How does it sounds at 800 watts or 500 watts?
It's just an illusion until we see inside.
Now these amps will power 20.7s 😊
No is only 2.0
I think he's referring to the Magnepan.
@@MasterofPlay7D.A.B
@@Harrisongrey19 what's that?
I'd be interested to know how the 'SuperRail' actually works because Paradigm utilized in its Signature Sub2 a 240 volt directly connected rail when full volume was needed. It utilized an 'Ultra'-class D switching amp rated for 4.5KW. Obviously there is a world of difference between Class A and D but I wonder what kind of distortion you get when pushing it to the kilowatt realm? Then again, these are prestige machines mostly bought with 'f**k you money'.
I like the unboxing videos. But, lets hope one never has to send the amp back to the factory for repairs - 320 lbs is a back breaker.
This is the first video I've watched in a while. What happened to the video quality? This thing was *out* of focus as much as it was in.
That’s what happens when you watch our channel… lol
There must be a easier way to move these as indeed any amp that are that heavy.
When will your dedicated nuclear generating station arrive to power all this stuff?
As soon as Hydro Canada approves it lol
so basically enough juice to weld a battleship ..........
Do I need to sell both of my kidneys to afford these 😂
Might have to add other organs
Coda 16.0 first 100watts A $17.5k 😮
Is this the first Relentless you have ordered? If that is the case, I would love to see the Relentless Epic 1600!😄
Looks the same … only a bit thicker. Happy now?
@@bikemike1118 Of course I know the exterior design is the same, the Epic 1600 is a heck a lot heavier.
@@Rascallucci probably… but the weight can’t be experienced in a video 😉
@@bikemike1118 The physical dimensions are different too, but I am just shocked that a difference in dimensions this small could account for such a massive difference in weight. We are talking about 250lbs here.
introducing: the opposite spectre of the latest snake oil. Using tech from the 1915's to try and deliver 2024 performance metrics, and costing 175k USD while doing it.
Looks like a Cartier design
that is the fanciest welder I have ever seen
A. Too bad they don't give you that slip material like Gryphon did. B. Almost 200k? Man oh man, a sucker is born every minute. More than a Porsche GT3. Costs enough to buy a 911 and a pickup truck to take it to the track.
Well, the buyers of this might drive a GT3 but they probably have a 918 and Carrera GT at home (if they’re a Porche guy)
- but I could imagine the buyer being more of a Ferrari guy
- in reality, probably just leases a new Escalade every year-and-a-half and moves excess money into real estate. But who knows - Adrian is rightly discreet regarding his clients.
Says me replying to a RUclips comment on a Monday.
@@jasonwebb6484 I could’ve presented my points better. Obviously you have to be wealthy and have large amounts of disposable income to purchase these. My point was the value for the ingredients just isn’t there. I watched Jay of Jay’s audio lab who I’m sure you are familiar with visit Boulder. The Amps that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars are made of some wires, circuit boards, etc, and put together by run of the mill workers. How can you, and maybe you can’t, and I mean the royal you, compare a vehicle which has perhaps thousands of parts, a hand built engine in some cases, to a box of electronics? Even taking into account R&D, it’s just way, way overpriced. 50k, maybe. 200k is laughable.
All that work just to get the plastic off. Should have just left it on there
you can skip the gym this week Adrian.
Won’t be going for a while… back still aching lol. Sucks when you get old and old injuries resurface
Real stereos aren't for wimps! 🤣
Haha this is RIDICULOUS looking, and not in a good way
inside the amp is a lots of garbage parts guys ,chinese made toroidal transformer and so on
Adrian how do you have SO MUCH MONEY to buy all this stupidly expensive gear? 🤦♀
You've got a fan!
Stunning beautiful Beast 😍😍😍 what is the price tag for that baby?
LOL $200k for an amp?🤣🤣🤣🤣
