Put a few drops of “goof off” on the stickers and let it soak for a bit. The stickers and residue will come off easily do you sleep with a silk bonnet and pillow cases? They for real help your hair and skin! I’ve been using both for over 2 years now and my hair and skin is so much better. Also my hair stylist, who I have been seeing for 20 years told me to stop wearing tights ponytails and tightly twisting my hair and putting a clip on it. Both of those cause breakage. I trim my hair every 6 weeks also. My hair is very healthy. I am now thrifting as well. I have found some cute things for my house.
Use Olive oil or any type of cooking oil to get stickers/residue off of things. It does still take a bit of scrubbing, but not near as much if you just soak in water.
You can wash the covers, but be sure not to pu them in a dryer, they will shrink. I put mine back on damp and it drys overnight. We have had ours for 9 years and I change the covers all the time…love your channel.
You can also disinfectant a slightly use couch with a steam cleaner (rental) or a disinfectant spray safe for fabric. Or maybe a white/cream couch with a few nice accent pink PILLOWS and a pink throw blanket across the top or on the arm end would also look lovely too. Your HOME/ place is starting to come together nicely ! 🌸
For stickers I use homemade citrus vinegar and hot water ( for citrus vinegar I buy inexpensive white vinegar and I save my orange and lemon peels and throw them in the vinegar)
WD40, spay on ragg. Use it on rubber soles of wite sneakers, removes tint residue off car window after removal. Crayon marks, the list goes on. Get a bottle at Walmart, last you a long time. I use it often on tile flooring and o remove shoe scuffs.
Rubbing alcohol should take the stickers off. I just love your pink cookware, I have turquoise cookware. I know what you mean about not wanting to leave your house, I’m almost 70 years old and I love my house too❤️✌🏻
Congratulations! 🎉 I’m so excited for you. To get stickers off products hold your blow dryer on top of sticker on hot to melt the glue. Usually just takes 2 to 3 minutes. Also, you may want to take Biotin vitamin for your hair. Hope this helps 😊.
Can you set up an address for pkgs that is not at your home? I would love to send you a few things I have thrifted over the years but I no longer use, my DIL is not interested in Crystal or any fancy items.
@@SamanthaROlmsted I’ve found what works for me is chipping away at it a little at a time..1/2 to 1 hour a day..if not it can get a little overwhelming and you end up frustrated because you have so much to do you don’t know where to start.
Hey Samantha.. I know you’re looking for some comfortable durable furniture and I just wanted to mention Bobs Discount Furniture..there are a couple stores in MN..I’ve bought a few pieces from Bobs in the past and have to say it nice stuff for the money..a sectional with a chaise lounge for around $800.
Owning a home in Minniesota becareful as un-removed heavy snow can cause your roof to cave in unexpectedly !!!. And home owner insurance does not cover it!
I Love this shopping video please MORE OF THEM !!! Im SOoo HAPPY FOR U SAM .... PUT UP A WISH LIST N P.O. BOX SO WE CAN HELP U !!! LOVE n HUGS ALWAYS FROM YOUR FRIEND IN COLD 🥶 MICHIGAN TAM PS GOD BLESS U BEAUTIFUL 😍 💗💓💕
There just wasn’t one 🤷🏼♀️ I didn’t build the house lol it was built in 1936 so I’m guessing no one wanted to pay for it. I want to put one in but not until I do a major kitchen remodel someday when I’m rich 🤷🏼♀️❤️
I have a lot of hair journey stories but I won't bore everyone. It is true that 'products' can make dead hair ( cos once it has grown out the follicles it is.... well, um, dead) look amazing. You do need to get any build-up removed regularly though, because no matter how diligent you are in your routine, products stick around. if your hair is healthy at the roots, good job! You are what you eat and so is your hair, which needs many resources often lacking in vegan diets, so you must be doing something right, right?
Oh people would love to believe that but hun I’ve been vegan for 11 years… my blood work is perfect. I eat a lot of processed foods which is bad but so do most animal eating people. There’s soooooo much research out there debunking your claim. On top of that I’d let myself die before eating another beautiful, conscious, feeling, and sentient being and soul ever again 🫶🏻
@@SamanthaROlmsted not everyone makes such a conscious effort to make sure they are getting the nutrients they need. What am I claiming that needs debunked? All I am saying, as someone who has spent a lot of time researching my own health issues, that I know that it is important to eat what my body needs, and that that can be more challenging when I follow vegan recipes.
GooGone works like a dream. eta: you can dye any white fabric any color as long as it is washable. So much cheaper than purchasing covers. Also for your hair breakage, heat tools are your biggest enemy. Try laying off of them as as possible and always use heat protector on each section of your hair if your not already doing
I dunno, in regards to your hair journey, I will never forget when my friend who does cancer research (and has been a part of screening developments for a significant form of cancer) told me that parabens, sulfates, etc. are actually really bad for you...but they are also in very commonplace things such as receipts! It's actually very difficult to know which products are genuinely safe or not. I believe that it's on purpose and no one should feel like they fell for this or that.
So true! May make your hair feel nice but at what cost 😭 but honestly laundry detergent, dish soap, literal clothing are soooooo toxic too! I’m hoping to make changes in all those areas ❤️
Blow dryer melts the glue and it comes right off.

Goo gone for stickers!
I was going to comment the same thing.
Blow-dry the stickers. Remove the residue with alcohol.

Try lacquer thinner to remove the stickers and if that doesn’t work, try the stuff that’s used to remove fingernail polish.
Goooo. Gone
Rubbing alcohol will take stickers off. You can rent a upholstery steam cleaners to clean a couch. ❤
Stainless steel scrub pad and/or Goo Gone on stickers, Razor blade works well too, but use caution.
Cooking oil removes stickers. Just use your fingernail.

I’ve been told not to brush your hair when it’s wet. Also, if you don’t have one already, get a wet brush! 🤷♀️
I love going to thrift stores, flea markets & antique shops. Good linen napkins $1.50 ea would be a good price. ❤

Are you sure no one ever let one rip on your beautiful Queen Anne coach?😂
