Kind of tricky to answer, I think it really comes down to your budget and personal preference. There have definitely been some improvements as far as the speaker design and sound quality goes, and I personally much prefer the rear facing RGB on the new ones.. BUT if you're happy with the V1s then why spend another $150. If the money is no issue and you like the V2s that much better, than yeah I think it would be a worth while upgrade.
Nommo V2 for sure, although the Leviathan sounds great too. The Leviathan is surprisingly good sound from a sound bar. The sub with the Nommo definitely has a good bit more kick as well.
@Rodrigo Fernety im not sure if I know what you mean, the Leviathan soundbar has 6? little speakers in it for the main audio, this sub is just a subwoofer speaker in a box.
@@PhazerOnest nooooo.. time to buy razer lv2 then at least on that you can control it via Bluetooth app as you're listening via pc simultaneously which was always a dream and I kinda loved the sub on original nommo pro. Thank you for quick response 👍 🙏 the only thing lv2 doesn't offer which nommo v2 pro does is a wireless sub (both offer THX along with original nommo pro which is a must when buying any razer audio product). Please cover nommo pro vs nommo pro v2 sub when you do in depth review including which is the heaviest?
@Project Pewgf can't go wrong with either one honestly. The LV2 is a great choice as well. The original nommo sub was definitely a cool design. Will do!
I'm so glad I didn't jump the gun with this one and done my research.. big difference between "thx certified razer nomo pro original" vs "thx spatial audio compatible speakwr via synapse e.g Nommo pro v2" I'd say Razer lv2 pro soundbar is both thx spatial audio equipped + thx certified as it doesn't depend on synapse solely, but again its only giving you spatial audio eq/mode which I was never after after falling in love with razer barcuda pro thx amp/dsp/tuning, i wanted to replicate that same sweet uncoloured sound but on full range speaker, so its either going to be Razer nommo pro original the £499.99 model (it now makes sense why its more expensive then nommo v2 pro because its thx certified) i might also look into cheaper thx solution like logitech z623 or z625 or i might just wait for Razer two in one thx certified +thx spatial audio equipped soundbar with earc 4k 120z pass-thru hopefully razer lv3 pro or something. I'm also interested in trying out Polk ax with Dolby atmos + Dts, an ultra compact soundbar.. has dialogue enhacement mode/tech, ir remote for all types control incl bass however only downside and a big one is it has no earc hdmi port for 120hz 4k pass-thru support with ps5 (so max 60hz on 4k :/) apparently its the best sounding compact bar & smokes LG eclair qp5.. i kinda want both dolby atmos + dts soundbar for watching netflix/amazon prime dolby content and dts content off mainly disnep with shows titled "imax in description which = dts audio" and thx certified bar /speaker mainly for music and some times content if the dialogue is ultra clear. Currently really happy with Creative stage se, the dialogue mode helps brings out the mid and vocals with music and content and hugely disappointed with Creative 360 wish I went for katana v2 but im currently not interested in creatives current offerings as katana v2 their top selling bar most probably cant do 4k 120hz which is a must for next gen console gaming.
There are 3 option, just the speakers, the speakers and sub, and the Pro which has the speakers, the sub and the remote. I believe the only difference between the mid option and the Pro is the little wireless remote.
I don't have the originals to compare unfortunately, but I know the speaker design differs slightly with the original having 2 actual speakers stacked instead of just one larger speaker.
I have the 1st ones. The sound is good but the remote is hell! And Does not automatically select the source. If its the same remote and same problems. It’s useless
I believe the remote has changed as it's wireless now, but I don't have the v1 to compare. This one had a source selection button on the front, but I have it connected to my PC and haven't tried Bluetooth yet.
Just outstanding!! Great video!
Thanks so much! Appreciate it man!
Do you think the V2 or X would be worth upgrading to from the V1 chromas

@@PhazerOnest thanks for your advice and the great video 😁
You're welcome, thanks for watching!
Is control pod made of plastic or metal? Is it possible to assign custom actions, for instance, mute mic? Does it have any LED indicators? Thanks
It's made of metal, no custom actions. 1 led indicator light but only for power and mode selection. It's basically a big volume knob and power button.
Bettween Leviatan V2 Pro and Nommo V2 which has better audio quality?
Nommo V2 for sure, although the Leviathan sounds great too. The Leviathan is surprisingly good sound from a sound bar. The sub with the Nommo definitely has a good bit more kick as well.

What's the difference between a soundbar and that bass
@Rodrigo Fernety im not sure if I know what you mean, the Leviathan soundbar has 6? little speakers in it for the main audio, this sub is just a subwoofer speaker in a box.
Nice Video! These speakers look really dope! 😍
Thanks man! Appreciate it!
Wireless remote lets you control sub or just the main valume?? I waited for the updated version as i knew theyd go wireless but no wireless control?
It controls your PC (or phone I would imagine if using Bluetooth) overall volume. The sub is not independently controllable.

I had the logitech z623 and absolutely loved them, had em for years but eventually the left one went out.
whos the cool guy sitting on your sub woofer?
It's a giant version of the kid robot vinyl toy the munny, it's called a mega munny. I used to be into the designer toy scene

Hi mate whats the difference between nommo v2 and v2 pro is one wireless, looking at just the v2 and will there be any sound difference 👍

@PhazerOnest cheers mate probs get the mid version 👍
@ChrisyB84 yeah the remote is a nice plus, but in no way necessary.
@PhazerOnest that's it probs be good if you was sat away from monitor
Is there any sound diffrence nommo pro vs v2 pro ?
I don't have the originals to compare unfortunately, but I know the speaker design differs slightly with the original having 2 actual speakers stacked instead of just one larger speaker.
bro mouse pad razer?
The mouse pad is a custom one that I designed.
I have the 1st ones. The sound is good but the remote is hell! And Does not automatically select the source. If its the same remote and same problems. It’s useless

The nommo originals are really bad. Not worth the price.
The originals were super expensive for sure, I'm glad these aren't the same price.
I just bought the leviathan V2 🤡
The Leviathan V2 is super solid, nothing wrong with that. I think you'll like it.
I want lv2 as well wanna try out thx 3d
