Gorgeous fragrance...have this and the extrait....along with Bracken man a tie for the 1st place favourite fougere and easily in my top ten favourites of all time...just MHO...thank you for the review
Thank you! I rock Beau de Jour as my signature fougere these days but I used to wear Bogart back in the day. I’ll have to find a bottle of that as I really enjoyed it!
Great review as always. Although I do like FG it is not my favourite fougere since It is not mossy or based on lavander. I can only detect a green fragrance with decent logenvity but i would not consider FG the fougere father at all. I recommend giving a try to Sartorial by Penthaligons which has some resemblances to Beau de Jour but different enough to have both fragrances. Cheers from Spain
Sartorial is the bomb. Must of polished off 5 bottles of that juice. Damn good stuff. Also loving Rive Gauche by YSL. Damn good stuff also. Love my fougere's.
For a while now, I've been interested in trying "Fougere Royale", but now I'm more interested in trying Bogart Signature. Is Bogart Signature discontinued? Where can I get a bottle of it?
@@Somnus88 wow I just looked and it’s a little more expensive but not to much I think it was like 27$ when I bought it however it’s not on all of the normal fragrance websites like before it’s only on one or two, I just got another bottle via Amazon because all signs are pointing to it being discontinued
Yes I got that chronmat 2 tone, really Like it, the one I gave my eye on next is essentially the same watch but with a cherry red face and diamond bezel it’s a little flashier. As far as my holy grail watch there are so many good ones I don’t have a particular one in mind, I like many Rolex’s I like some vacheron constantin watches as well and they are not super flashy just very nice pieces
Hey Kelan, What is your take on Moustache by Rochas 🇫🇷 France. So the Original Moustache formula “1949 EDT” is considered an old school aromatic fougere, Could you review this one? I’m interested in doing a blind buy or maybe locate a tester.
I actually did make a review on Moustache by Rochas probably two years ago, if you search in my video library I’m sure you’ll find it, the edt is what I had, good smell weak performance
@@JJHills-ho3br ahhh believe it or not I have tried both of those so I would say go New York intense over fougere royale, I was gifted a small 50ml bottle about 2/3 full of New York Intense to sample and wear. I bought a bottle of fougere royale and sold it after this review it’s good but it’s not that good and I was ultimately disappointed sorta.
I own a couple of bottles, but it’s a like, not a love. It reminds me of Brut, for some reason. But it’s little too tart for my tastes (some greenish herbal facet that’s out of point… cinnamon leaves and geranium? Who knows). It’s good, but not exactly a pleasure to wear.
Great review and I enjoyed it and I'm going to try it and have a blessed night
Thanks Mike !
You welcome keep up the good work GOD BLESS 🙏

I have not tried Bracken man yet
Does it have the earthy smell after the drydown? Loved bracken man because of it. Tomorrow this one will be delivered
@@hanhabenero3398 to my nose they are very similiar however the clove note is more prominent in Bracken man
Great review Kelan keep it up 👍 👏👏👏
Thank you !
Thanks for the nice video! I have had my eye on this one.
It’s a very nice classy scent
Yeah I like this one, but I feel it costs twice as much as it should
I agree it should be like a $90 max bottle
Thank you! I rock Beau de Jour as my signature fougere these days but I used to wear Bogart back in the day. I’ll have to find a bottle of that as I really enjoyed it!
Find one now it’s becoming harder to get, Bogart signature that is
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey Thank you. Are you selling any now?
Right on!! 💚
Thank you ! Enjoying this one
I’m gonna give this one a shot. Thanks!
It’s a very nice scent I like it worth having
Best Reviews. Have to try it
Thanks so much for watching and commenting !
Haven't got a full bottle but have smelled and sampled this is pretty good classic fougere
Yeah it’s a very nice classy scent worth having a bottle once, not my favorite ever but if you can get a good deal go for it

That’s how I feel, it’s a very nice scent but there are better fougere’s

Great review! I’m just starting to get into Fougere and want to add one. What do you recommend that is better than this? 🙏🏼
For a while now, I've been interested in trying "Fougere Royale", but now I'm more interested in trying Bogart Signature. Is Bogart Signature discontinued? Where can I get a bottle of it?
Damn. It's up to $30.00 and hard to find. That sucks, it's one of my favorites.
It’s definitely one of the best inexpensive masculine fougere classics ever definitely try it before it disappears

Kelan, I saw you got A Breitling recently, but I'm curious as to what your grail piece is, or perhaps - what would be in your 3 watch collection?

I like enough I have a backup bottle.
I think having a bottle is worth it, idk if I’d buy again unless it was being discontinued
Could you post the Escada Magnetism to Sydney, Australia?
That would probably be very difficult for me unfortunately
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey ah that’s a shame, thanks for coming back to me.
Hello, between Houbigant-Fougere Royale and Nicolai-New York Intense which one is the better fragrance if you could buy only one?

It said made in France.. written in black ... That is the first thing i read on the sticker...
I guess I'll stick to Drakkar

Where is the Clone?
I have not found one specifically for this yet but if I do I’d definitely make a video
