Ok ok this is what the people been needing! Its so hard to tell with ALT because it seems like EVERYONE that recommends them is also being paid by them.
@@aadeshpatil488 In general, poor means 1-2hrs, moderate means 3-6hrs and good means 6-8hrs, as mentioned in the video, but it can vary from person to person based on skin chemistry. For example, I have chanel allure homme sport eau extreme and bleu de chanel edp, and bdc last far longer and smells way better on my skin where as ahs lasts forever on my friends skin and smells better on his(we both own our own bottles). So it's pretty hard to say really, it's just a tricky variable to work with when recommending fragrances online.
I've always gotten compliments when wearing my greeb irish tweed and Elysium clones from Alt Fragrance. My personal take is that if the fragrance costs over $150 then its cloning time 😂.
Your honest thoughts and insights on these are greatly appreciated! I’ve pretty much written off clones but it’s still interesting to hear what people think of them.
I’ve bought quite a few cologne’s from ALT, I didn’t like all of them but it’s my own taste. They don’t claim to be a clone rather inspired by said fragrance. I don’t mind spending a couple hundred dollars on an outstanding fragrance but higher prices are not meant for new to wear. Just my take on it, this is the first time I see your content and enjoyed it very much, you appear truly knowledgeable and I can greatly appreciate that. Thank you very much, God Bless.
I am very confused. Not only have I compared over 2 dozen ALT fragrences. I have also had other people do blind side by side comparisons. Over 90 % of Alt fragrences tested were 90 to 95% acurate. Sometimes even better. And no I am not affiliated with ALT in any way.
Probably cuz the people smelling it are regular people like you and I and that's why we have no issues with it. And sometimes, cheaper fragrances might be even better than the pricy ones. I just can't wrap my head around buying something that's worth 300 dollars only to have something that cost like 30 dollars and I could never tell the difference. I feel like I got duped!
Thanks for the video man! I actually recently got six of their colognes and was trying them. And I thought they were very hit or miss too, some were awful or just not good and some pretty okay. But also I'm used to not liking too many scents so I expected as much. 2 dimensional is also what I picked up on a lot of them, again cheaper cost. I will say, the Nicotianna I got was pretty good. Definitely little to no tobacco and didn't do too great at mimicking the original but it did smell like a fantastic ice cream parlor making fresh waffle cones. Which is nice, but not exactly what I'd like to smell like. I'd basically agree with everything you said in this video. Also Just Porto No.7 smells incredibly bad so I know Alt doesn't perfect everything they produce
Exactly what I wanted. I’m not really into fragrances. I was looking to pick up some that weren’t going to break the bank, but their lack of low reviews seemed sketchy. Seems like they might a good bang for buck though. Not expecting high end, but decent
Dossier has what I think is a good dupe for lost cherry called Ambery cherry. It has a boozy almond head with a complex Tonka and Peru balsam base.I would love to see a review of dossier perfume an colognes
I've gotten a few Alt Fragrance from the rack stores. I'm reserved in my purchase and did as much reviews as possible. I use the ones I've gotten in a secondary manner such as layering or refreshers.
Kinda of how there's value in reviewing scents from an established house there's that same value in reviewing clones from well known clone houses. They'll have strength and weakness that might not reflect in every scent. If you were interested in alt fragrances I'd recommend Dossier. Their selection isn't as niche and they aren't as loud as alt fragrance but they're more faithful and enjoyable albeit with less nuance then it's counterpart with more natural smells, my favorite from them being ambery vetiver. Outside of that a lot of the main dupe companies are a bit more complicated to sort through as they have different lines targeting different price points so they might have a handful of dupes for the same scents with their own plus and minuses. I'm sure there might be a better answer but I haven't tried enough of each brand to give you a concrete answer although I've heard promising things about Alexandria fragrances. Hope this helps -Lee Million
@ thank you I appreciate it. I have heard of Dossier. I’m trying to find a reasonable dupe for Amouage memoir man. After posting this question, I found a Cologne house called Fragrenza. They have a version of memoir man. I just ordered a 5 mL bottle to see what it smelled like. I’ll update you when I have it If you have any other suggestions, let me know. That sentence is my favorite but so expensive.
Hey, have you done a review of their Creed Aventus Clones? I have batch 22c11 but I’m looking for something that smells close that isn’t Armaf club de nuit
Given my lack of attraction to Adventus, I didn't think trying that dupe would add value to the video. But if you didn't like armafs, I could almost promise you alts wouldn't do it for you. It flattens most complex compositions and is definitely using cheaper ingredients than armafs
actually I love alt everyone is gonna have different opinions but I love there products and don't think that alt is gonna be the same it's about being close to the dup
I remember purchasing White Sun last summer & over time, I got nauseous from it. So much for smelling like the Jersey Shore for a fraction of the original price. 🥴
All I have to say is I purchased several of them at our worst fragrance is ever made. They have zero longevity and performance, and half the bottles. Even tightened on and they're leaking, however, I'm not so pissed off because I only paid $15 on a red sticker at Marshalls. Not the $35 they're asking per bottle lol
I've tested Executive (Aventus) with 1 spray on my forearm for projection today before work, and I could smell it on my forearm from a little before 2a until 8a this morning. I've sprayed Cherry Splash (Tom Ford Lost Cherry) 1 time on my living room curtain, and it lasted for WELL over 24 hours.

I bought Agar gold No.2. By Alt. It was supposed to be inspired by Oud, but it was NOT! Or maybe they had a different kind of oud in mind when making this perfume. The smell sucks!!!! Also, there is no refund option!!!! You only get an in-store credit so basically you are stuck with them. Spend a little bit more money and get a Tom Ford or some other well known brand perfume don't waste your money here. I tried to post this comment on their site, they don't let it post it. That should tell you a lot about the company.
Oh my word I had the same experience with that one. I was hoping if I let maceration take effect it would get better...I WAS WRONG. And the "mystery one" same crap. I threw both of them away last night. Now the BDC clone and saxophone (jazz club clone) is really good. But think about it, they're charging $50 for 60ml!!!!! There's sooooooooo many better clones options or hell some OG brands for those prices for 100ml or more!!!!! $15 at TJ Maxx sure.
Get what you pay for. Bottles are 60 cents in China, and that's where they come from at this price. Low-quality ingredients are also in those perfumes. The design is really boring and plain-looking. You have to realize it cost them around $5 at best for a bottle, box, and perfume. Cheap low-quality perfume alcohol, cheap low-quality bottles, and cheap low-quality ingredients = Junk.

I think they have their place, but their gorilla advertising breeds mistrust and misplaced expectations.
This is a review I can trust about ALT. Thank you.

I would like to have your opinion.. for a woman, with limited budget, what dupe fragrance would you recommend? Thank you
great content man
Thank you very much for this honest review!
How many hours ALT smell does it last? I’m think to buy Versace or ALT
Which one would be better ?
ALT alcohol free or it has alcohol?
Versace is so cheap you might as well buy it.
