      Much appreciated, the wood around the pond is just as necessary as is the boulders, fish, and plants. In photography there is the rule of thirds. It works in creating the picture as much as it does taking the picture.

    The edges of the pond are so natural. The water flowing of the the log is amazing. Great work.

      I've always been a bit creative. Having built many things as a general contractor . This was just the next challenge.

      Thanks Greg, It's all your fault !!!!! Your video worlds most beautiful back yards was done so well, I was hooked the very first time I saw that video. I watched that video over and over.       My wife and family agree with you its extremely relaxing at the ponds edge and best part about is there's no motor boats going by. Very tranquill

      This video was early spring. Plants were just coming alive. I did a second video just recently after 5 weeks of letting everything grow. It has now been manicured a bit.

    It's perfect. Are you in USA? I'm in Florida. Too hot but things are under control. I made my pond not natural and amazing like yours because the purpose was protection and nice life to my turtle Joy. Still i love to enjoy it. Now i have 12 gold fishes too, some snails and shrimps. Makes the life worthy. I guess you stay a lot next to this amazing pond.

    Absolutely amazing I want a pond like that I will put native catfish bream and Creek chub in there because it looks just like a natural Creek going into a pond

      My first pond build for myself and my family. It certainly gives a new fell to the social gathering . Watching the waterfalls. ,birds, frog, dragonflies, even the bubbles floating down the current.

      I'm in southern New England zone 6b.
      Outside the pond along the edges wild onion
      Sage
      Stone crop
      Ferns found locally
      Creeping jenny
      Hostas
      In the pond
      Obedient plant
      Mint
      Creeping jenny
      Moss of every kind i love moss including sphagnum moss and some moss i found that will grow in full sun in the water at the edge of the water high or low flow.
      Lilies
      Yellow blue and peacock iris
      Grasses i found locally.
      Forget me nots
      Water cress

    Challenge anyone to tell me that that wasn't a wild bull or leopard 🐸 @ 3:26 sitting right in the middle of that waterfall, Take A Look! This scape had to be $50+K.

      DYI as I had many of the needed supplies at my disposal such as free rocks / boulders even then with the cistern it's over 30k

      And growing I am in the process of reworking the matrix bog I want a larger waterfall. Going to be a costly addition . I should have just dropped a pump in the snorkel and pumped to a build up but . No volcanoes for me
