I think it works so well because the cat and dog use the same line weight, and because they curve the same way in the middle, it adds a sense of orderliness. Also the face of the cat and dog are very simplified, like one you’d see in preschool, which theoretically give the viewer a feeling of nostalgia making both the graphic and company look appealing. The bold colors also give a pop so consumers look towards it

Wait until they change and simplify the logo to be more "modern" and the logo ends up being a half blue and half red square or something dumb like that. 💀
