I love the wood and paint look!! I have 2 80's dressers in my bedroom that are going to get a makeover as soon as the weather gets warmer and I can work in my garage again (too big to haul down the basement)
Ahhh I can't wait for the warmer weather to get here!!! We had a taste of it yesterday...hoping it's here to stay (although the current weather is rainy! but at least its not cold). Hauling pieces to a basement is the worst! Then having to haul it back up!!! Ugh...heres to warmer weather so you can work in your garage again!!
Your work is lovely. I have couple questions. Not being critical just trying to learn. Do you always use latex paint and why instead of chalk? Also why did you use wood glue under the wallpaper instead of mod podge thanks for your help
Thanks so much Sandy. I use all kinds of paints I have my faves, like DIY Paint that’s why I’m an affiliate for them, but there are just sometimes where I like to use other paints. Valspar is my go to for latex and Annie Sloan is a great chalk paint. The reason I went for latex on this one is bc of my inspo which was the paper and I could colour match to it. The wood glue on the paper was just a matter of it was what I had. It does the job and I haven’t had any troubles using it with paper. Hope this helps 🥰
I love the colour and I love what you have done. However I would have liked the colour all on the bottom and the top in the beautiful light wood. but your work is super smooth and perfect. I am an Aussie and love that you are doing well in America.

Why do you use stripper on top and sides (prior to sanding) and not use it on the drawer/door fronts? I am new at this, trying to learn prior to doing a bedroom set.
I haven’t sold this one yet. Bc it’s solid I’m hoping to get around $700 this may take a minute to sell at that price point. I also may have to repaint bc the green may not appeal to a large enough group
