for leather I highly recommend, Cleaning the leather first with 100% acetone and then painting with actual leather paints like Angelus Leather Paints and Alphaflex - Textile and leather paint. As a leather and denim artist its ideal to use the right paints to make sure the design and the paint stay in tip top condition. But I love the idea you came up with of the patch method. - YLCustoms
Thank you! Setacolor can also be used on leather, but I think it also comes down to personal choice and also what’s available in your country... always good to have options 🥰
Hey ! You can probably just experiment with doing shapes and tracing objects, until you become more confident in doing more. Even though you don’t paint the detail, they will look really effective as a body of work if you do a heap of them and layer them. But it’s all about practice !!!
You can buy awesome stencils in art shops and spray paint them in layers, forming a cool background. After you are done, trace a well-known shape outline (Mickey Mouse, Marilyn Monroe, Joker etc) on top. Looks dope and very trendy.

I would sew around the patch to make it look like I sew it.
yes! You could also paint them on different fabric, and then sew them onto your jacket aswell :)
Just discovered you and subbed. I also started my channel and I love painting leather. I look forward to seeing your growth. XX Maria
