I think the good thing about sand art is it’s not permanent and the supplies can be reused. Jazza is an artist and is constantly making new art and he can’t display all of it so he ends up using a lot of materials on art pieces that just sit in a drawer. So I think it’s good that he does some art that can be reused.

    It's my fav sand art.

Drawing with sand is actually pretty common in Art therapy ! It teaches us to live in the moment and accept that some things are temporary. By creating something and then destroying it, it can teach us that it’s okay to let things go and that not everything in life is meant to last forever. Just enjoy the process, have fun and learn to move on when it’s gone. I really loved your video but I don’t think I’d be able to try something like this since I’m allergic to dust and I’m pretty sure sand as well ! It looked very satisfying though 🫶🏻

A couple years ago I went to a Public Library that had a few Buddhist monks making a mandala out of sand for a spiritual ceremony where they spend a few days making a sand mandala using these Sand pen shakers? Idk the real names but you have two that you tap to drop sand precisely to make this beautiful piece of art! But that’s when the ceremony would start, they’d put on their ceremonial hats and drums on.
They’d parade from the library to my local River and, DUMP the mandala they’ve spent days on! The reasoning for this is that nothing ever lasts including art! So you must cherish life. And stuff like that
Edit: you could to open your experience with sand by coloring the sand and Layering it (which may be time consuming so maybe not lol) and include color with your art cause that’d be lite

Ok Jazza, here's my request for a short, as it may not be a whole video. Take them flower pots, put vertical partitions inside to separate the outlets 1~3 per vertical segment. Color your filtered sand and then hang the whole thing on a swing. Replicate the paint swing effort you had, but with colored sand on black canvas. Add your gradiant shading if needed with the modified siv. Finish it up with a clear coat to keep the sand in place and then end with a 1~2inch clear resin pour. Install mounting brackets, put it on your shop, and I'll buy one if the proceeds go to a nature cleanup fund in your local community. Thanks!

Here in the US you can buy Children’s Play Sand (or something similar) at the hardware store. It is consistent in size of grain.
Your pieces were beautiful. The subtleties of the sand brought in a whole new dimension. It was kind of like dimensional pointillism.
I thought you might find a way to save them. Maybe spray with varnish?!?
    Very fun video.
