  • Im sharing my nan's moorish crepe recipe with you today. It's stuffed with jaggery and fresh coconut and they're just heavenly.
    Recipe makes 8-10 crepes depending on the size
    Crepe
    1 cup flour
    1.5 cups water
    1 egg
    Pinch of salt.
    Tips
    - If its a bit thick add a little more water
    - Make sure the pan is very hot and well seasoned.
    - The batter does better after resting a bit in the fridge
    Filling
    1 cup grated coconut
    2 tbsp Cane Jaggery or natural cane Sugar
    2 tbsp Coconut Jaggery or Palm Sugar
    Tips
    - The fresh filling is good for a day or 2 no more
    - The coconut can be lightly toasted with the jaggery
