My 5 secret Chicken Biryani - How to make the perfect Biryani step by step
Traditionally Dum Pukht is the slow cooking in a clay pot over the fire but I’ve adapted this recipe for the home kitchen and still gives you excellent results every time.
If you do decide to use goat meat. Follow the same method. Half cook the mutton and the rice and assemble the same way. Only difference is the mutton needs longer to cook.
Recipe
Ingredients :
For layering
2 tbsp yogurt
1 tbsp garam masala
3 green chillies
Fried Onions
2 large onions
1 cup oil
Marinade
1kg chicken legs on the bone

1 tbsp ginger paste
1 tbsp garlic paste
2 green fillies finely sliced
1 tbsp fried onions
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp garam masala
1 tbsp Kashmiri chili powder
1 tsp tumeric

Can yo I do this with canned sardine
@@roshneepersad1426 tinned sardines are very delicate to handle. You could try with sardines in oil not brine and drain out the oil completely before you coat it and fry. It will taste totally different and will be tricky flipping it all in one go without it sticking to the pan

Ye I’ve watched a lot of people shucking oysters while waiting to eat them 😂 this was my first time and maybe I just got lucky…and they tasted amazing. I got limpits as well but those I cooked them like I usually do mussels

Yes I did research the area for biotoxins before I went and well known for foraging. This was west Somerset when we went on a caravan weekend. We had terrible weather but this afternoon that it didn’t rain we ran to catch the tide. My husband spent his whole life in England and has never been foraging

I just watched this after hearing the news of some lady getting some flesh eating disease from eating fresh oysters. There's a bacteria in the oyster that people believe that if they put vinegar and lemon juice it should help like wasabi does for raw fish, but I heard on the news that doesn't help, so be careful when you eat raw oyster especially this fresh of a oyster
Ye it is scary but they said to look up the area to see if it’s safe for foraging so I did before I went foraging. And I also read that the vinegar and lemon might not kill it. I have a weakness for shellfish and it was my first time foraging…my husband refused to go near them

@@Theresia66 it’s just sad that it costs as much it does. From poor man’s food to invasive king crabs that are also over priced. I love shell fish but it is overrated

In India we call it srikhand the pastry is called a puri or bhatura. In the Middle East the Greek yogurt is hung for an extra night and it’s called labneh. They usually eat it with zataar or hyssop but I decided to make a dessert out of it 🙂

The recipe calls for it to take it that far and I didn't trust it till we tried it. You should too its totally dfferent from the american cheecake
