Maybe you should forgive medical debt over student loans.

If we spent less on wars defending other nations, we might be able to afford health care for our own people?

Get rid of admin burden set by Medicare, Medicaid and private insurers. Insurance companies turn profits and employ thousands that contribute nothing to helping me take care of my patient. Rural FM doctor. Love the idea of auto enroll every kid on Medicaid. Always willing to deal with that system for the sake of children and their healthcare needs. If the kid is sick, parents shouldn't have to guess.

I can not feel sorry that our debt is to high to help us!! you Can stop wasting billions on wars and importing Illegals. You have money, for "gender care" but not cancer treatment or other life threatening illness.??? WE have coverage at the time of some severe illnes onsets but we still lost our home . And now my costs are at least 600. a month between my husband and myself. And thats with medicare. We barley make enough to get buy on and going in the hole fast ,yet we can not get any extra help for anything? All the charities are scams. They try to make you feel secure that help will be there if anything drastic happens but that was not my experience.Social worker told me to go to food bank ? and get a ride to hospital treatments to save on gas ...Wow so helpful lol, yet she gets paid for that phone advice from my insurance policy?

    I’m a Canadian ex-pat…
What Bernie isn’t telling you is that in Canada you die or get irrevocably sick whilst WAITING to get that Hospital Room!
I’d rather go bankrupt than die!

Oh Bernie Sanders, had so much promise yet sold out. Then again, given the threats the establishment is willing to dish out, I can't really blame him for accepting those houses after that closed door meeting. Same thing happened to Ross Perot in the 90s with either the Bush, Clinton or both camps threatening his family to make him drop out.

Like most things in America it's a racket.
All they need to do is find out how the likes of France , Germany , Scandinavia have better health systems and copy. There is no such thing as medical debt in these countries and they have longer life expectancies than Americans.

Insurance polices are ridiculous, pay 100 percent for natural births but leave patients with over 10 of dollars for emergency births with no additional medical issues for the babies. Makes no sense

I needed a dental procedure done to ensure my dentures could fit properly. No dental surgeon within a 60 mile radius took my state health insurance. So my dentist did his best. But my dentures do not fit like they could. As a single parent traveling for a procedure is not a possibility

Hmm, this debt/cost crisis sounds pretty serious. What would happen if a virus, vaccination or combination thereof could be genetically engineered and then cultivated to gain the functionality to secretly spread effectively for the sole purpose of shortening the lives of Medicare and Social Security eligible citizens and current recipients in order to reduce the massive financial obligations of those two government organizations?
Medical professionals sometimes say, pneumonia is an old people's friend.
Government is burdened to pay for both rising medical and retirement costs that would otherwise continue to be paid out for individuals, especially those already in poor health, possibly continuing on for several decades. And as the population ages along with the current low replacement birth rates, the base is becoming too small to support these two programs without a massive immigration of younger healthy people and families to keep these schemes going.
Those diabolical schemes could also shorten or end the personal medical debt burden for those ineligible or lacking current qualification for those two government aid programs.
It would be very important to keep such heinous eugenics efforts secret and insure that only the targeted age group be affected, e.g., leave those kids alone! Of course, medical countermeasures would also have to be invented and made available to those who could afford to pay to extent their lives. As long as nothing goes wrong, escapes, mutates or gets out of control and starts causing something like turbo cancers, calamari clots, strokes and heart attacks. What could possibly go wrong, especially if government funded research and development biolabs are also re-located far, far away from home?

I have cancer if my husband wast a disabled veteran, yes injured while serving our country, and our inly income wasnt his VA disability and my college refunds i would not have been able to get medicaid and get treatment! I had cancer for a long time before i knew but it is a highly yreatable and slow growing cancer by the time i went to my doctor i litterally felt like the walking dead. If i didnt have medicaid there is no way i could have gotten treatment! I would have died a very slow and very painful death. Im thankful i had medicaid but most Americans arent so lucky. We are the only western country and the only wealthy country that doesmt insure free health care for our citizens and treat our citizens like none of us matter…. Well unless you are transgender then you can get free health care services….think of that a girl can go in and get her breast removed if she says she is a boy but someone that has breast cancer cant get a masectomy unless they have coverage or can afford the surgery out of pocket… one will kill you and the other can get help through mental health services!! Make this make sense
