The toughest concert choice i had to make in life happened in 1992. On the same day i had to choose between seeing The Lemonheads w/ Juliana Hatfield as the opening act (knowing she would join him on stage later) or seeing Lollapalooza '92 w/ Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jesus & Mary Chain, Lush, Ministry & Ice Cube. I went to Lollapalooza.
Gosh....that question has been haunting me for a while now. Drugs? Anorexia? Some other ailment or sickness??? I love her dearly. I dread the day when I read online or (whatever else) that she took her own life....
Catchy song, but I always thought the best part was the guitar's rhythm - which she totally does not play in this video. Maybe guitar was not her strong suit.
Bought her latest album. Just as good as this! Juliana wrote and performed so many loveable songs.
No wonder the shitty world does not notice them.
She never lost credibility by playing into the machine. It was her choice, it never suited her, and she wouldn't still be around if she had.
Man I loved her. I saw her in Boulder a few times. Crushed hard.
So you're saying that you're not anymore? What up with that?
Alternative forever!!!
i get giddy every time i hear this song! The lyrics, the lyrics! Oh my god, it was so long ago but still...
those jeans are back in style!
"Who are you to tell the truth and kill my fantasy?" 😊😊😊
I CAN See You also ♥️🇨🇭🙏
So Inspiring!!!...It makes me Smile...
I love John Wesley Harding's backup vocals!
Fascinating, I never knew that! The backing vocals don't become prominent until the end, but yep that's definitely Wes. Thanks for the info snack :)
Some Velocity Girl feels right here.
It's like these fashions are en vogue again!
nicey nicey indie pop
Appease my aching eyes..

I saw The Lemonheads and Juliana Hatfield in a packed CBGB in 1990. She did a killer cover of Neil Young's "Cinnamon Girl."
Dude, you made the wrong choice. Chili Peppers over this genius female? NEVER :)
Is she playing a Ibanez Talman?
or is it Hardin?
Is this about anything at all?
ewwww look out for that bug juliana! it's right behind you!!!
Benee's supalonely totally ripped this song off
Why is she so skinny now? She looked more plump and happy here.

She turned vegan
Anorexia. She talks about her struggle in her book. I can’t imagine someone looking like that feeling fat.
also she's just older. If you stay the same weight in your 20's as you age, you look skinnier. Loss of muscle mass, collagen, etc.
Not relevant

No, the naive vocals are the best bit..won't you please materialise x
She is not a bad guitarist by any means though. This is just a simple power pop tune.
