I have loved her since she played the Bottleneck in Lawrence, Kansas in '88, when she was in the Blake Babies. Her voice is like a reminder of something beautiful that I missed, because I was not paying proper attention.
they met one time at an after-concert, crowded greeting event but only got to talk for a few minutes, he later sent her a letter apologizing if it seemed he snubbed her because he hadnt meant to and he said he loved her new album and especially the song My Sister. You can see a photo of the letter and read it online. She spoke of possibly selling it few yrs ago for no less than 20 thousand cause she needed to pay rent and stuff but I dont know if she ever sold it.
Very Nice and Hot. I liked the song as well! Thought it Rocked! Well She rocks! Clap, Tip of the hat, Curtsey, and Head Tilt. Awesome! I am over my personnal word count ,you broke a record for response words. I could not help it! WOW!
@@POPNDOUGH Yeah, I think you're correct . I knew Scott from Letters To Cleo ..and I knew that he and Stacy played with Tracy Bonham at one point , and Stacy played with a lot of other Boston bands . Thought it might of been him . I remember hearing the American Hi Fi demos when they were called "BMX Girl" . Ahh... I miss the 90's
I waited for this as soon as it was announced, i was a Conan fan and a huge huge Juliana Hatfield fan. I it was great, you can tell she's nervous
A heart that hurts is a heart that works.
Love this Gal ! I got to see her perform 3 times around the time this CD was out. Puts on a really good live show.
Can't believe it's been more than 20 years. Timeless!
...almost 30 years
the 90's had so many talented alternative female artists,,
the 90s music is always full of fun and the best
😆 🤣 😂 so you've never heard anything prior? 😆 🤣 😂
My Uncle Schmedjke used to sing this while plowing the wheat and barley fields.
+Doug M kinda t.m.i lmao
Still one of my all time favorite artists!!!
In the mid-90's, every girl I'd met was measured up to if she was as hot and cool as I found Juliana Hatfield to be. Alas, I died alone.
Ditto!!!!! Juliana Hatfield and a bit later Shirley Manson... Alas, I too perhaps set the bar too high
…and Tanya Donnelly…and Kristin Hersh…
…and Natalie Merchant…
…and Kim (and Kelley) Deal…
…and Kim Gordon…
R.I.P.

Thank you!!
Two things I can't stop staring at: her tummy and the drummers hair. For very different reasons mind you.

I think there's probably a story behind the atypical extra bare midriff and the shirtless band member.
The 1990s perhaps?
She is a very good guitarist, seems to use a strange tuning??
Great !
deserves a lot more than 400 likes
