A while ago, if you asked Siri what zero divided by zero was she would say that, but I think they took it out, I remember hearing about it and making her say it on my iPhone 5, but now I’m on an iPhone 14 and it doesn’t seem to work anymore… I just want to be insulted by my phone, why Apple?! Why!
I remember in 2012/2013-ish working for Scansoft/Nuance and found Susan Bennett’s original voice recordings on a server in our Stratford office. At the time we were contractually not allowed to acknowledge where Siri was developed or where the voice came from.
Fun fact: Susan Bennett followed me on Twitter once for, like, 3 days. I checked that it was really her and it was. I had a few hundred followers (mostly close friends and bots), so I was baffled. I think it was an accident lol because like I said, it only lasted 3 days.
I asked my Siri and she goes “If nothing is divided by nothing, then there's nothing to divide, or divide it with, and the division never happened. So my answer is... No” 💀
My grandmother is a nurse and she had to take care of the actuall Siri voice and she got her to make a custom voice recording for me, so I have an audio of Siri saying “Hi Addie! Make sure to always listen to your parents and do well in school! Have an awesome day!” Awesome experience!!😊
