I kinda like the cloudy darker skies in the original. It gave the mission a more brutally cold look that would've helped cover the SEALs approach. Seems more their arena. But that's just me.

See, explosions may be a problem with the rig itself. Gunshots are a definite YES to “oh shit, we’re being raided, send reinforcements and keep in defensive positions.”
I always swap the suppressed guns before i detonate the charges in the room. Because, if you swap them, then their suppressors won’t be removed automatically by the game itself. But in general, after detonation is realized, the game gets suppressors back from your SCAR and M4A1 Sopmod
A bit late, but: "Enemy vehicles and helicopters spotted 15 kilometres away, near the highway." He speaks pretty good Russian, though he does sound pretty unhinged.
Matthew Elechosa not really. That water is way to cold for a dive. Those charges that they put on the door would make them go deaf and would probably kill them. There are several other key points on how unrealistic this game is. Your interpretation on “realistic” is probably based off of movies.
