- A former policeman opened fire at a nursery in Thailand on Thursday, killing at least 34 people, including children and adults.

The shooting occurred in Na Klang district in Nong Bua Lamphu province during the afternoon while children at the centre were sleeping.
Maj Gen Paisan Leusomboon, the deputy police commissioner, told Thai channel PPTV HD 36 that the perpetrator was a former police officer who had recently been fired from work and had drug-addiction problems. Police said the gunman shot himself, his wife and his child during the incident.

I have barely seen anyone talking about how this demon possesed individual then went home... and killed his own wife and child.. the devil is real.

This massacre is a stark reminder of how vulnerable our lives are in today's world where even innocent young lives can be taken away so ruthlessly.
Finding out this news has made me genuinely sick. Those poor victims and their families, I can't fathom the pain anyone involved is going through right now and maybe for the rest of their lives.

A great tragedy for the loss of so many innocent young children. Sympathies and sorrow for the young ones to their families.
Invariably the root of the tragedy is drug related that turns humans into psychopaths with just one extra trigger of pressure beyond the limits.
If that policeman was dealing drugs, shouldn't he have been in prison?

I can't believe someone would do drugs and reached to this point. Unbelievable. I heard a child and 2 teachers survived, the 2 teachers jumped out of a window if I'm sure and the child managed to hide in the blanket and stayed quiet which made the shooter think that the child was dead

Please make more tight security on every kindergarten.. must have strong lock doors, nobody can get inside easily, only teachers allow to open the door from inside.. and nobody allow to enter the kindergarten, when not important things..!!!

There’s no such thing as safety. What makes you think the security guard won’t turn around and do this himself for whatever reasons he may come up with in his head.
Remember it was a policeman who did this.
There’s only the illusion of safety until your time comes at whatever hand death deals to you.

I think schools should have some form of mag locks on doors to isolate incidents such as this, but still such a concept wouldn’t stop the problem, it’d just isolate the number of casualties.
