The blurred glass/plastic effect. (Cognitive load theory - super practical.) (Dedication to non-destructive design habits leads to better design workflow. The abilty to dramatically manipulate text without losing its functionality.) I feel like a cheater when I rasterize. -Pce.
The blurred glass effect has been very interesting and useful to me. I work in an ad agency and my boss just requested that I create a website design using this effect, so lucky to have this chance to finally apply what I learned from the video! Thank you for sharing your knowledge~
I always watch your videos at least twice. The first is to get the actual information you're passing and the second is to study your video graphics & typography. I just love how you put them all together... Another great video!
7:34 I have first-hand experience with the theory itself. I work as an FB ads graphic designer. Basically, I was stumped because the "nicer" designs didn't perform better than the ones I previously made. It's because there were too much texts on our graphics that we had to turn the campaigns off. It would be best if you apply the RUclips thumbnail mindset on your ads. Just KISS. Learned it the hard way lol
your content is gold and very high quality, you deserve waaaay more clout than you have. RUclips is not fair! Liking every video to help :) Have a happy and creative New year!
Wow.. Great video, love this so much ♥️ Cool Tips, Clear Explanation, and Simple to understand, you're really a Great Mentor for us 🙌 Thank you for sharing those tips & Happy New Year Tom 🥳
Really appreciate you man. I loved this one. As a logo and ad designer, it is good to pick up tricks-n-tips like this and employ them in new ways to our layout. Massive TY's from - The Nxzphz -
I am currently going through your logo design playlists. Still a ways to go as I try to work alongside them. You probably have a ton of stuff planned already, but was wondering if you would consider doing some magazine layout in InDesign tutorials. Also would love to see how you breakdown more workflow and process stuff like batch automation, running actions, integration of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign or other. Also, a while back you introduced us to Milanote and it got me through college and it's my primary organizer now. Can't live without it. I think in mind maps so being able to see things in clusters of inter-related materials has optimized productivity for me for the last 4 years. So now I have recently discovered Trello. I do believe you had suggested it. Well, I work for a weekly newspaper in a ski town in Vermont. Besides weekly layout/story content etc., I maintain, update and create about 50 - 70 ads depending on issue size. I have been working on a system to increase productivity in our office as it relates to file sharing and commentary between marketing team and design team. It is easy for ad briefs and commentary to get misplaced, ads forgotten or doubled on page etc. Trello has organized that system and cleaned up the errors, simplified our archiving process, file sharing, update commentary and so much more. No more email back and forth. These two softwares have been crucial in so many ways. Thanks so much for your teaching and dedication and most importantly - enthusiasm !!! Crucial!!! Designers i'm beginner and have learnt the tools but can't finish when task is given. Kindly if someone know how to overcome this it would help me alot. Thank you
hey, can someone please let me know if he creates a layer between each step? or has he made everything on the same layer? im just getting started and not sure how to use layers on illustrator
Nope as soon as you sign up you can use the materials anywhere you like. Just make sure to double check the license agreement here: elements.envato.com/license-terms
Which of the 3 was most useful to you, and if you liked the video consider dropping a 'like' on it
Peace out

For all the web devs, you can make the glass effect using the CSS backdrop-filter property, and it finally reached ~94% global support recently

Very nice
Thanks :D
Adding SHIFT while pasting keeps it in the exact same place as the original. For the video this might not have been the best option though :)
Thanks for the tip!
Thank you for sharing! Question 🙋🏻♀️ what tools or app do you use to record your screen? Thanks again!
Amazing tutorial! wish they just had background blur efect like in Figma... so much easier
I totally agree!
Thank you Satori Graphics, this was very helpful. Please where did you get that "Robot" image from, I love it
I generated it with Midjourney 👍
I’m curious to see your creative take on nuemorphisim. Away from UX.
The 1st effect can be easily done in XD or Figma! with few clicks - Awsome video
Now Adobe owns Figma, maybe they will move the same process over to their other programs
Thanks
No problem
wow great and thx
No problem
One question that's in my mind: Can I save and re-use the glass/plastic transparency, as a template in my designs?
can you make a video about how to do the first skill with text something like the at 5:43 ❤
