Wade, I simply loved this video…. You are giving a glimpse of your city, your life as you go along carving in this unit …the traces of another’s life. Very interresting to see and listen to your take on it. Love the honesty, transparency, humor and good sense you bring to all of this. In a very simple manner you are documenting something that goes way beyon a You tube channel. You are sharing and I get it.
Conn stopped making Saxaphones in the 1970s so it would be considered vintage. Depending on what type it is (Alto, Tenor, Baratone, Soprano) they can go for 2,500 to 21,000. Serial numbers are the unique number on the back of saxophones, usually inscribed under the right thumb holder. They help identify the instrument's exact production year and Model. They also don't lose much of there value. Good find.
Serial number N51308, which agrees with “shooting star” decoration on the bell and the blow-molded case to date it to the 70s. It’s a good student instrument.
Thanks for including the detour to the dump, I've always wondered what the cost would be for hauling heavy items like old useless furniture and mattresses.
Wade, have you considered putting your broken jewelry and odd pieces of jewelry in small lots to sell on whatnot. A lot of crafters would be interested this. I know that I would be interested in this, but only in small lots due to my limited income.
I agree with you Wade. You would make a great detective. You observed the guy eating the candy from the unit at the Dump. And what good is a lock without keys without a reason ? And it was ebony Great finds. Thanks for sharing what more is installed besides checking a unit out. That is all bull work. Hours upon hours Worse than moving from an apt. Can't imagine 6 units in a day!
Thanks Wade and Ashley! I needed that! “It’s a curtain rod!” Loved your humor in this. I enjoyed seeing Portland. I couldn’t live there or any other city though. I’m a country girl. I look forward to watching more videos.
This was a good one and I really enjoyed riding along with you seeing downtown Portland in a row that was really cool to me. Enjoyed it thoroughly I really enjoy watching you and Ashley it’s amazing U2 are a great couple till next time
Came here to comment on the other video where Ashley picked the unit with all of the designer purses. I think she was given too much of a hard time because that unit was chocked full of treasures and it was a gem of a pick! Way to go Ashley!
The breadcrumb sound like rain I love watching you guys and Thanksgiving’s right around the corner. You’re right. Happy Thanksgiving early. Thank you for sharing❤
The peace sign is from late 60's early 70's. I had one in orange. The sax was a great fine! I hope the pads on it are intact. I think (not sure) I saw the bass guitar had crack on the back of it. The clavinova looks like to be the best keyboard out of them all. Nice finds for sure!
That CLP 100 Yamaha Clavinova is vintage, the 154 model is a 1994 yesr. Also its considered too old to even give a kid because maintenance is expensive and "not worth the trouble". The amp however, that will bring you some cash.
Hey I want to comment on the storage your wife picked last time no offense I liked the storage she picked you usually pick storages with Christmas or vintage stuff so Ashley storage was kind of a fresh air to what you usually pick looking forward to see more of storages picked by Ashley 💗
I'm seeing lots of potential in the costume jewelry since vintage stuff is often made from natural stone which has increased in value and also sterling silver was dirt cheap back then and very common. Getting the vibe that there may be a few surprises here you need to watch for.
Conn is a very old name in musical instruments -- also Fender (the speaker). Do some research. That briefcase looked to be full of newspaper clippings, perhaps of concerts/events. That is a beautiful old saxophone!!
The Fender amp is easily worth several hundred dollars, possibly more and the two guitars could fetch several hundred as well. The six string guitar looked like it was missing some strings as well as the cover for the pickup control. The bass guitar looked to be in good shape but probably needs new strings as well as check for loose frets on the finger board. A Gibson, Fender or Rickenbacher guitar would have been a great find but those two fixed up might get you several hundred at the most.
Hello Wade and Ashley friends of the Ventures from a Cajun from Louisiana.I was missing you all I was in dream land. But it seems you all hit another great locker. Hope all is well.
Wayne, of course you know that the designation of K GP means gold plumb, not plate. Plumb means the gold designation is accurate, not no less than. Its an old yerm. You should look it up; I may not be quite accurate in my description. I actually found an old ring that was 14K PG or GP. It was a while back. Keep up the good work, blessings to you and the fam.
I really don't think of pretty when I think of Portland any more. Mostly it just makes me sad to see what drugs and all the homeless have done to our cities. 😞
The croutons you pulled out and joked about made me laugh😅Im still.laughing 😂Thank you for another great video I think you got a winner on this one..and I'll forever remember the stuffing every time I see a pkg of stuffing mix😂❤😊
Hi my friends! The Conn alto sax will bring anywhere from $1,000 to much, much more depending on condition. You can look up the serial number. Great get!
Saxophone, guitar, and piano. What kind of band would that be? Maybe jazz or blues or generally that area of music? I don't know enough about music to know what genres like saxophones.
Think this was a lot better than the last one any I hope this is make up for the last one and you also explained about the food and dumplings fees and other stuff 😇😇💯💯💯👍
People are very foolish to think you would stage a unit…I’ve followed you for a lonnnng time …considering some of the hilarious units with your Mom they were impossible to stage
You’re exactly correct plus, even if you stage units, they really don’t add any value or any extra views in my opinion. And it’s already too much work in itself that adds a lot more lol
Blue neckless might be lapis. The speaker could be close to $300, but did have little damage? Some of that retro stuff is worth more then it looks like it would be.
A lot of the items here seem to be African. The wooden animals may have been tourist items, such that you’d buy from tourist attractions, African safari tour, etc. I think the rhinoceros may be very old, aged iron wood is why it’s so black. Also, the turquoise and silver bands looked like African tribal jewelry. I’d have it appraised by someone that knows about such items, if they’re real or replicas, they may be worth more than the precious metals and stones. Best of luck in making that money! Love your videos! ❤

That’s incredible Barb to find that out of this hundred dollar storage unit!
Conn saxophone N series was built in 1971. Depending on the condition of the cork and pads, maybe a couple hundred dollars.
I thought they said “M” not N. Big difference in price. It is an alto sax.
Serial number N51308, which agrees with “shooting star” decoration on the bell and the blow-molded case to date it to the 70s. It’s a good student instrument.
@@PygKLB Thanks for the correction.

I’m over here crying about the curtain rod. Thanks for the laugh!!😂
That was hilarious
Wade, have you considered putting your broken jewelry and odd pieces of jewelry in small lots to sell on whatnot. A lot of crafters would be interested this. I know that I would be interested in this, but only in small lots due to my limited income.

All right, I’m gonna have to stop RUclips and become a detective. I think I may have found my true calling.
Thank you for the field trip!!! Loved seeing Portland!♥️

This makes me miss living in the PNW even more!! I hope you all stayed safe with that bad weather last night and today!! Great video!!
Loved riding along with you. I did not think Portland was that big and industrial. Great unit. Hope you are good?❤

Awesome video and unit !!!
Thanks!
Big city, I'll never be there so good to see. Thanks
I loved all your funny comments on this one. Looks like a good one seriously
Definitely made your money with the music instruments. 4 strings are Bass and 6 is Guitar 🙂 my hubby plays electtic guitar and taught me that trick.
I live in Portland and thank you I'm still new here and haven't seen much of Portland
That rino is made out of iron wood very neat piece
The peace sign is from late 60's early 70's. I had one in orange. The sax was a great fine! I hope the pads on it are intact. I think (not sure) I saw the bass guitar had crack on the back of it. The clavinova looks like to be the best keyboard out of them all. Nice finds for sure!
I loved this video. And I laughed through much of it. (The walking stick/curtain rod was especially funny). I also loved to see your city!
I really enjoy watching you and Ashley go thru the units. Where do I go to check out your auctions.
Omg lolol wade was cracking me up ❤❤
Always enjoy!!
I liked seeing rhe town and dump!

way more than $100 unit. Good job Wade and Ashley.
Wade you and your family have a happy Thanksgiving
Charles, I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving as well. It’s one of my favorite holidays.
There's one of my favorite couples❤. Cool to see where you take your trash. Fun riding along.
Wades the macrame plant holder are worth money! They are very in style right now.
$1000 was for someone who would dare to eat some of the peppers in the first jar Wade pulled out of the unit.
That’s correct thank you for helping here

I think you’re right William there was some pretty good jewelry there
Hi from Grandview, Washington 😊
I might be building a warehouse in Washington :)
Wade the sticks with heads on could be Aftican, there have been several on Antiques Rd show UK, somd are worth 1000s
I had no idea. I really appreciate you giving me that insight. I’ll have to get those checked out in more detail.
The Fender goes for anywhere from 200.00 to over 1000.00 you paid for this unit plus.
What an awesome unit!!
Can't be Portland, there's no traffic! 😂
Weekend :)
The blue beaded necklace may be expensive because it could be lapis.
That’s true really hoping you have a great day. That is a beautiful necklace.

The Fender Amp is worth over $1,000.00.
You found african ceremonial walking sticks …. and a curtain rod …. all in the same box life is funny 😂
It's a bass guitar. You guys are funny when you talk about the pearl on the instruments. And, yes, you have more thank made your money back.
Hello Wade and Ashley friends of the Ventures from a Cajun from Louisiana.I was missing you all I was in dream land. But it seems you all hit another great locker. Hope all is well.

You are too funny! Love you guys!
My mom had a set like that, and she broke one, glued it back together, and hung it back on the wall. :)
Are you referring to the wooden spoon and fork? :)
Yes. You made your money back. Plus some for the other other unit that you and grandma Ventures done with all the rat droppings. 😊
Yeah, there was no rats. I was really surprised being an outdoor unit and they’ve been there for so long.
Hope you tell us your final assessment of this unit.
You guys work hard a lot in volved.
That Clavinova should make your money back for you. Including your dumping, gas etc.
Yes. I think you definitely got your money back. Ashley must have picked this locker out.🎉 😂 Wade how did you damage your thumb ?
That bike is the best bike ever used to ride mine so fast it smoked .i wish i had that❤😊
The blue necklace is Lapis, $$$

The Fender paid for the unit and then some. I was really surprised by how much it is worth!
Love the purses and jewelry
Thanks for stopping by Joy. Those were pretty cool.!
That bridge looks like the bridge on Taxi in the opening of the show almost lol
I really don't think of pretty when I think of Portland any more. Mostly it just makes me sad to see what drugs and all the homeless have done to our cities. 😞

The Bible you pulled out: “ if your Bible is a mess, your life is not!!!😊
Wow I guess I have to make my Bible a mess then, cause I'm am a mess😢
Never heard of that before, but great way of putting it
@@donnawhite7859 using it regularly, it becomes a mess - we all need to be in the Bible more including me.
Ashley is looking blooming are you expecting a wee one

Once again $$$$$$$$$$ Who picks the greatest units..
You picked the best Storage units Susan :)) ❤️❤️
Hi Wade and Ashley. Just with the instruments you made your money back. No drumset? Can't have a band without drums😂
Blue neckless might be lapis. The speaker could be close to $300, but did have little damage? Some of that retro stuff is worth more then it looks like it would be.
Really appreciate that information Lee I think some of those are gonna be worth some money
I love those old briefcases though
Fender Sidekick Reverb 65 used is listed for 789.00 on ebay
Really that’s interesting that paid for the whole unit by itself
Never take candy from a man at a Dump Site!!!😂
