@@ivfexpert yes I already understood this doctor; but does the theoretical line of the WHO consider multiple morphologies in "typicality", whereas the Kruger method is one and only one "absolute" form? so in the 4% of a report according to the WHO, theoretically for Kruger that percentage is overestimated? (I don't know anything about the topic yet, I should read the who manual ;)). This is to understand in a very general and theoretical line :)
Hi Sir, I have taken Day 8 injections of my IVF cycle today, I am supposed to go for egg retrieval process in 3 days. But during semen freezing, today the hospital diagnosed that my husband has 0 percent morphology ( after two tests also it's same) Sir please advice me if I should proceed for ICSI or I should drop the plan. It would be really helpful if you reply.
Dr I have my semen analysis. report says that I have teratozoospermia but doctor said it's normal in terms of looking sperm count which was 65 million per ml of 2 ml 45 percent motility is it normal or not if not can I reverse it
I need more information to be able to provide you with intelligent advise. Can you please scan in your report and email it to me ? You can see what a sperm test report should look like at www.drmalpani.com/knowledge-center/resources/book/chapter4b
Sir we had 3 miscarriages due to loss of heart beat. 2 ectopic pregnancies and one miscarriage bcs of no heart beat now after ivf. My normal sperm is 2%,head defect 65%,neck defect 28%,tail defect 3%.And lab says I have asthenozoospermia. Is this the cause for miscarriage.
No . Abnormal sperm will not cause a miscarriage The commonest reason for a miscarriage is a genetic abnormality in the fetus, and this is Nature's defense mechanism, to prevent the birth of an abnormal baby. While these defects are often random, they are commoner in older women. This is because these eggs have more genetic abnormalities, because they have "aged" and have genetic defects, which be do not yet have the technology to be able to screen for. The fact you have conceived in the past ( even though you did miscarry) means your chances of having a healthy baby are excellent, so please don't get disheartened !
Sir, I am Suparna Bhattacharjee worked in Dr. B. N. Chakravarti's clinic as a back office assistance, I heard your lecture. Really it's amazing. And you explained it so easily.
Sir i have vericocele problem on both side. Some doctor advised me to do surgery possible. One doctor suggest me first try to concive then think about surgery. Doctor prescrived me to take Sperm care 500 and ubi q 100 for 3 month. Do we still have a chance to conceive naturally?
You should try for at least a year before going to a doctor. How old is your wife ? Are her periods regular ? You do not need any medicines. Varicocele surgery will not help to improve your fertility , sorry. Read more at www.drmalpani.com/knowledge-center/articles/varicocele

3% morphology is normal. If the rest of the report is good, you can conceive naturally. Don't go for ivf, some men with 2% morphology are conceiving naturally.
Here too I told my husband Nature is wise if sperm is bad you shouldbt push that hard unless you want a defective baby. I am also having the donor conversation. But if you want try IVF in Japan is only 4k dollars you literally can do multiple cycles with the money you pay in the US and probably they have better technology.

Many of these reports aren't reliable because the lab does not know how to check morphology properly. Did they give you a stained slide ?
Good advice
Glad it was helpful!
so for the kruger there is only one typical morphology for the cell instead for the OMS there are more typical morphologies, correct?
All these scoring systems are highly unreliable because they are of limited predictive value

Can you share the detailed semen analysis report ? Usually, abnormal sperm morphology does not affect ICSI
Dr I have my semen analysis. report says that I have teratozoospermia but doctor said it's normal in terms of looking sperm count which was 65 million per ml of 2 ml 45 percent motility is it normal or not if not can I reverse it

Can you please scan in your report and email it to me ?

Sir we had 3 miscarriages due to loss of heart beat. 2 ectopic pregnancies and one miscarriage bcs of no heart beat now after ivf. My normal sperm is 2%,head defect 65%,neck defect 28%,tail defect 3%.And lab says I have asthenozoospermia. Is this the cause for miscarriage.
No . Abnormal sperm will not cause a miscarriage
The commonest reason for a miscarriage is a genetic abnormality in the fetus, and this is Nature's defense mechanism, to prevent the birth of an abnormal baby. While these defects are often random, they are commoner in older women.
This is because these eggs have more genetic abnormalities, because they have "aged" and have genetic defects, which be do not yet have the technology to be able to screen for.
The fact you have conceived in the past ( even though you did miscarry) means your chances
of having a healthy baby are excellent, so please don't get disheartened !

You need to do ALL the following simple medical tests:
blood tests for your wife for the following reproductive hormones - FSH ( follicle-stimulating hormone),LH ( luteinising hormone), AMH ( antiMullerian hormone) , PRL ( prolactin) and TSH ( thyroid stimulating hormone) on Day 3 of her cycle, ( to check the quality of her eggs). a HSG ( hysterosalpingogram, X-ray of the uterus and tubes, www.drmalpani.com/knowledge-center/articles/hysterosalpingogram ) for your wife on Day 8 of her cycle ( to confirm
her fallopian tubes are open);
The vaginal ultrasound scan on Day 11 or 12 should check for the following.

I need more information to be able to provide you with intelligent advise.
What's your sperm count ( million per ml) ? sperm motility ( percentage) ? grade of motility ? morphology ?
You can see what a sperm test report should look like at

Can you please scan in your report and send it to me ?

Sir,I had done icsi but after 9 weeks my babies heartbeat has gone.if morphology 1% then no successful pregnancy. Please tell.
The commonest reason for a miscarriage is a genetic abnormality in the fetus, and this is Nature's defense mechanism, to prevent the birth of an abnormal baby. These defects are often random and have nothing to do with sperm morphology
The fact you have conceived in the past ( even though you did miscarry) means your chances
of having a healthy baby are excellent, so please don't get disheartened !

Hello sir

These morphology reports are very unreliable

3% morphology is normal. If the rest of the report is good, you can conceive naturally. Don't go for ivf, some men with 2% morphology are conceiving naturally.
@@ivfexpert
Here too I told my husband Nature is wise if sperm is bad you shouldbt push that hard unless you want a defective baby. I am also having the donor conversation. But if you want try IVF in Japan is only 4k dollars you literally can do multiple cycles with the money you pay in the US and probably they have better technology.

Yes. We don't know the reason for this
My sperm density is normal. Total motility and progressive is normal within reference ranges.
