Its important to understand the complete report of Semen Analysis in a proper way. Semen Volume for analysis should be on the average of 1.5 ml. Regarding the Sperm Count on Semen Analysis report , one thing is very noteworthy , if we talk about sperm number per ejaculate , the average is about 39 but the sperm concentration per ml is about 15x10 6 per ml. Progressive motility is 32 % and sperm morphology is 4 % on semen analysis report . The Vitality means (Live Sperms on Semen Analysis report should be at least 58% and the ph should be more than 7.2

The sperm need to be kept at body temperature to stay alive maybe? The sample needs to be at the lab within 45mins of ejaculation & kept at body temperature.

Hello! Can motility be assessed by optical microscopy without stain it? Can this be done in the Neubauer chamber? If possible, one must proceed with the volume of sperm like in the preparation for sperm concentration without fixing the sample?
If you kill the sperms by fixing/staining, you will not be able to assess motility. So, as described in video, you will need fresh sample to assess motility.

@@jyotipanwar9004 i’m not a doctor. But based on my experiance , the time above 30 min till 2 hrs considered as upnormal case. This time my liguefaction time is 50 mins because i used a medicine called ‘ACC LONG’

Jab sample dena ho toh jyada rush na kare. Thoda delay karne se jyada liquified semen niklega. Sahwas bhi jaldi jaldi na karein. Isse volume bhi jyada hoga aur liquification bhi.
