I try to avoid FOMO whenever possible, but I'm seriously considering buying a box from Monument. I plan to leave them in the box, as they may be worth an even higher premium in the future. I have plenty other silver items to fondle, so these will be kept in mint condition - if I do get them. Any time I see something I want - I allow myself a few days "cooling off" so I don't regret buying something I don't need. Thanks for presenting these.
I feel they should keep the plastic. It keeps the bar more resistant to milk spotting and toning (especially in transit or on the coin shop shelf) taking the plastic off can be left to the end consumers. I personally love that I can keep my hands on then without worrying too much about getting my prints on them. It’s just one man’s opinion I could very well be wrong. Just my preference. :)
The plastic might be for their benefit until it gets into your hands (handling etc) and not necessarily to stay on the bar. Just a thought on modern day product handling for most things
I got a 500 gram bar on my 50th birthday from my brother. Was surprised and so excited. He knew i stack metals, but didn't really know about Germania, he just go lucky. its definitely one of favorite silver pieces.
These are what I had in mind when I first started stacking. I like coins and rounds but the shape of bars and these lovely loaves appeals to my sense of aesthetic. And yes, I'll be removing the plastic once they're in my bare hands!
My first 10oz Germania Mint bar just arrived and took the plastic off immediately. Going to sit at my desk and not so much worry about aesthetics for my first bar. Great video!
yea they are stunning, hope someone will be selling them as individuals, 20 are a bit much for me but 2 or 3 (without plastic) would be nice. And yea even a half ounce would be cool to see, they could seal them in credit cards with some amazing Germania Mint artwork, make them look like notes of the future, a 10 Mark note , design them as pocket pieces to fit in the credit card slots in wallets as conversation items to show off to none stacker friends. But yea i do need a couple of these beauties in my stack.
Great vid, also remember I read an article involving a high end e executive at Germania about the type of plastic they decided to use. They put a lot of research on types of plastic to wrap their bars and type of storage box. I definitely enjoy the mini serial number under the holographic logo too.
I have a Germania mint kilobar and 3 mint sealed boxes of 10 oz Germania mint bars and a few loose 10 oz Germania mint bars but I've never seen the one outs I'm going to have to look for those. thank you as always
People get their jollies different ways…some like cracking into an assay, some like pealing off shrink wrap, opening a sealed tube of coins..personally I like Germania bars in the wrapped up in the cardboard haha
Hi, I normally invest on vintage poured bars particularly from JM but seeing this video, I wouldn't mind getting my hands on these 1oz poured bars. I agree they are very beautiful! I will keep an eye on it once it comes out. Thanks for sharing and good work on your videos!
Gold and silver do not look right when they are sealed in plastic and cannot be admired for the beauty that they possess! I do the same thing when I get sealed plastic bars and rounds! I take them all to feel, and admire their beautiful traits or characteristics and admire the flaws👀🤔🤔🤔🤯
@@BackyardBullion probably within the last hour maybe hour and a half of the entire screen. It's over 4 hours so I will have to get back to you maybe on Sunday?
What's the point of having silver if you can't play with it?! Have fun and take the "plastic" off! These little bars are very cool as part of a stack! Agreed. Plastic sucks.
Uh, what? Did he just say he spoke to someone at the Germania Mint in Berlin? I doubt anything this guys says, since he doesn't even know the history and location of the Germania Mint. Nice camera tho.
Preach. If I learned anything in life it's that collectables that are sealed are worth more than those opened. I bought a set of 20 and 1 spare to open up 😂
Hi, I'm quite new to stacking and collecting, could you please do a video explaining the ins and outs of what premiums are on bars and coins? I'm excited for the delivery of my BYB 1g bar purchased from your website 😊

just get some cling wrap and put as much plastic on them as you want.
Just take a knife and take off the plastic… you get offended by plastic my boi?

Germania mint bars are my absolute favorite bars to stack. Need to get a box of these for sure!

Never thought much of 1 oz bars, but I may have to pick some of these. They're like fun size versions of the bigger bars
I’ve been waiting for these almost 2 years, backing the truck up loading up love my germanias
My first 10oz Germania Mint bar just arrived and took the plastic off immediately. Going to sit at my desk and not so much worry about aesthetics for my first bar. Great video!
Kilos are hard to find at the prices When I could get them.
They are beautiful. I reviewed these yesterday but was not brave enough to take them out of the plastic. lol Great video sir!!
I just received 3 of those bars yesterday and wow, i was impressed and really liked them. Felt heavier than an ounce, but soo thick.
That was a shock when you slid that 100oz big boy in the frame! Wow 😮 👍
They have these on "sale" for $32 and change right now. Would you still pick up a box for this price?
The new Germania mint copper bars look superb to
Those are too cute to not buy , beautiful.
I really love the 100 ounce bar it's amazing 😎
Yes I agree with you. They're really cool looking bars. Though, I would prefer to keep the plastic.
If i was making up a shopping list these bars would be on the list.
Germania makes nice stuff. I got one of their 100 gram bars. Very nice bar.

Oh man oh man. Those are some pretty candies 😮 edit: they are now available for preorder at places like Hero Bullion! Yayy!
I don't even like the security stickers, I mean silver is silver it's not void because a sticker isn't on it.
Oh my I luv them. As long as they are not over priced and competitive like their bigger bars I would buy a box of them. Thankyou

Must I say these bars are beautiful finally got mine in today purchased at my lcs. I need more
Beautiful 1oz bars, but high premiums. I just bought some 5oz Germania bars, lower premiums. Can't wait to get them. Definitely plastic off. :)
I like these and also the 1oz Geiger bars
Beautiful little gems, and they do look much better without the plastic.
They are beautiful. Even the packaging is classy. I also prefer without the plastic.
i just bought two this morning and will be taking the plastic off, thanks to your video!
Very happy you didn't slice yourself or jab the pretty bar with that knife :)
Cool little bars - definitely agree about the plastic!
i sooo want 1 of those boxes😎😎... thats a real pocket piece
They are awesome!

Agree...
Beautiful!!! Love them No plastic. The 100oz is supercool
I have 682 oz ALL GERMANIA MINT. I have 40 10 oz bars. 16 500 gram bars. I've not seen the 1 oz bars before.
Those look lovely , waiting for a few coins from them in the post , never knew they did these , will look out for some .
Those little buggers are ace!
I'm definitely getting some of these. I think the premiums will get much higher in the future, like the old style Geiger bars.
very nice, where can i buy 1 oz little silver bar? they look lovely!!
Hero Bullion is where I buy Germania mint.
@@johninphx9360 thanks 😊😊🙏🏻🙏🏻
I have bought a piece from you and I adore it , we have it framed
Germania Mint will probably be my next purchase. I really like the look of them. I'm debating on whether or not to get a Wallstreet bar as well.
the plastic helps to protect the bar, i think it is very nice as a gift wrap ^^
Its a great bar, price is good. Comes in individual box now.
I had no idea they made 1oz bars!!! I need some asap lol
I like my cast bars thicc, but may make an exception for these, it just depends on the pricing.
So lovely. I just want to roll them round my hands. 😍
I love the Allegories - have them all, really like their bars, but the Germania round - I have 2022 & 2023 - I’m not so sure about.
Definitely nice to own a set of those little bars, and yes skip the plastic for sure.
You got a really good mention on Yankee Stacking's live stream 100k subs giveaway last night!
Aww, awesome. What timestamp?

I got some, like you mate it annoys me when they leave off the T for troy the Americans do it all the time. Great vid again mate.
I have a half kilo Germania. Looking to collect 1 of all sizes below that.
How can i purchase one of these please?
Very nice
I've looked the places I know about but I can't seem to find them anywhere.
Monument Metals has them

Did you say 1 oz bars.... when will they be available?? 😀
Why don't people send me free silver😢
Always fine these difficult to buy in UK
Congratulations
Well Deserved
Next video, BYB's trip to A&E
Plastic off! It's just cheap silver. I say enjoy it. Will not hurt resale without the thin plastic.
Anyone found these from an online dealer yet? Looking to pick up a few packs if the cost is reasonable…
Uh, what? Did he just say he spoke to someone at the Germania Mint in Berlin? I doubt anything this guys says, since he doesn't even know the history and location of the Germania Mint. Nice camera tho.
Nice looking bar but not personally a fan of bars unless from small bespoke producers like yourself....already bought a couple from you.
Super cool kid here , not a fan of touching silver myself 👍
No way. Don't take the plastic off!
Why....?
@@BackyardBullion whenever you would sell them, they may be worth less out of original packaging. I wouldn't buy them secondary without the plastic!
I don’t like the holograms and all that, I much prefer vintage, gold not silver but cool bars nonetheless
just a thought, germania is a polish company, not German.
Germania does not mean German...
@@BackyardBullion true but you sounded like you contacted them in Berlin which would be incorrect.
I saw them at the world money fair that was in Berlin is all 😊
These boots are made for walking :)
Mine is still in his box and plastic
Yeah, that pesky plastic is so bad for the environment - unlike silver mining. Lol
I love the plastic wrap!
Open the big one, lol can’t hardly see that one
Bars out ov the plastic I think. Maybe a bit more care with coins or rounds to keep a better price when selling?
Yup

I dig your vids but ill be honest, I take any review by someone receiving free items, with a grain of salt.
No plastic 😢
Who would be the best to sell bullion to ?
Most will pay spot for gold.

Not special enough to warrant the premium for a hologram. Cheaper to get 100g albion mint bar over 3x of the germania 1oz bars
Daddy wants!
Very nice
