Mad respect to the woman that told the husband in the first story. My mother disagrees that people should intrude in people's lives when they learn these things, but if I were the husband, I'd hope someone would tell me if my spouse was cheating behind my back.

Props to OP 1 for getting clean revenge even though his wife did him really dirty
OP 2 is a legend and sounds like a great dad that many of us wish we had, the former father royally screwed up, I get it, paternity fraud is brutal, but at the end of the day she was just a kid and didn’t deserve what happened to her, I’m happy OP did a lot to help fix up the situation though

Also props to op 1 for not exposing the whistleblower and not going out to destroy the affair partners and recognise that they could also have been manipulated by his wife’s seniority 🙌🏻 completely agree with op2! S2 It took years for this guy to reach out to try and make amends with his daughter? Years? Not one year but most probably 3 to 4 years. He was that devastated and out of his head when he said those things in front of her. Now he wants reconciliation. Well tough, you don't melt down to that level and expect forgiveness. He has to bear this now, like others.

Have you seen the same scenario in which the daughter resented her dad and later regretted it. People some times make decisions in the heat of the moment and regret it later. It is most likely that he sought therapy and then realised his mistake. It might have taken him some time to build courage to talk to her. I think they might rebuild their relationship but it is the most unfair to OP personally because he wholeheartedly accepted her and now she will leave him again.

I've come to realize most people just don't show much empathy and sympathy towards men. For some effed up reasons for women it's believe all women, but for men it's guild until proven innocent. If a woman f**ks up, she still finds sympathy, man gets berated as if he is about to open the gates of hell.

What I don’t understand is verbal abuse and emotional harassment of said child, who is innocent and losing not only a stable home but also a parent…if he wanted to step away for his mental health, he could have done that respectfully and with the aid of a family therapist. You can be decent to others and still be good to yourself. With that said tho, I do agree that if you step out, you can’t just waltz back in. They need to accept the consequences.

As someone who's father abandoned them and never really was a "Father Figure" since he'd let himself get walked all over by both me and my Mother...
I would have accepted him back if he was genuinely interested in making up and ACTUALLY become a Real "Father Figure" but he never had ANY power and basically is a Super Beta Male that chose another abusive Woman as his Current Companion for the last 10+ Years so he seems to like being Humiliated and Taken Advantage of and so on...pretty much a Masochistic person...
What I can tell you is I would of wanted ANYONE, that would of fit the "Father Figure" because I really would of needed someone to help me with "What I should do?" and things like that as well as Emotional Support/Encouragements...My Mother basically helps me Financially and with some random things but we never really got along because we both have strong personalities and she can't help me with Emotional Support or Encouragements since it's always NEGATIVE Feedback from her and I NEVER do ANYTHING RIGHT! (According to her...)
So, if you have no Respect for your Father, it's impossible for him to be a "Father Figure" and basically anyone who fits the "Father Figure" bill would be better!

I agree with everything Steve did but the mental abuse and trying to waltz back into her life. I agree he should’ve divorced the wife and took his name of the birth certificate. He should’ve did all that, but this always goes back to paternity/maternity test should be mandated. It literally doesn’t make sense not to, and that’s why I always believe every man should get a paternity test no matter what.

Seems like young men really do fall for women in leader positions too. I didnt know it went that way too! My father used to tell me that when he was in a leader position women used to «throw themselves after him». And that he was completely shook that women had such side to them. He also said that it was so clear to him that they were fake because he was middle aged and obviously they didnt go for his looks .. but he has had friends who have fallen for these young girls. We shake our heads to that… i guess my dad wanted me to learn not falling for authority.
