Paradygm TV is back with the 'We Asked' show where we collect the opinions of the public on contemporary issues. As the pandemic grows across the country, there are several issues being raised currently and we will be trying to collect voices from different personalities from various positions to get a broader vision. We are trying to be as careful as possible at this time and we are taking preventive measures while filming/producing and editing our shows. This might be unrelated to what is being discussed here but I need to tell this, Nepali teachers aren’t there to educate or help you. Period. Over the last 20 years, I only stumbled upon perhaps 5 teachers who were really good at their job or loved what they did. Rest were there just to pass by. They don’t care ! And for someone like me an average guy or a guy who had to be explained maybe more than once or twice, the so called teachers basically drain out our spirit over the years. I feel lucky that I was able to pull myself out of that hole, and rise above the mediocrity, or at-least I would like to believe that I am pulling myself out, continually trying.
Some teachers in our case are the reason why some of the people I knew as a kid could never build up their confidence. Up until that’s not sorted nothing is going to change in our ecosystem, people need to be educated not sorted based on their intelligence. I found good teachers in my colleagues and friends and family, for others School is the place where they lost all their confidence. Up until that... mediocre will only yield mediocrity!!!
That’s true inhuman teachers generally do not encourage average and below average students. Rather they try to down spirit of those student with their unequal bahaviour. I have seen few friends who had to face this. One of them changed school and luckily she recieved better treatment there and also performed better.
Yeah!! When I requested for a recommendation letter from one of my teachers, he literally said write the needed letter and hand over to me, I'll then mail it to them from my id !! It's a shame to tell that's the zone, teachers here are in!!
pro tip: dont look for course, look for carrer... choose the course that leads you to that career

If somebody who passed +2 recently and wondering about further studies then
Firstly you have to acknowledge that " None of the faculty has high scope than others every subject has same potential and needs equal effort for secure future "
So if you are asking for subjects which has more scope/ which is more secure/ in which less hardwork and more profit you can get
Then this will turn out as regret in between batchlore studies
Only thing you should be aware of is your intrest/aim if you don't have one
then choose the subject which you feel you are good at / you feel it easy/you think you can study it with more consistency .
[Every field needs equal effort.
And has equal potential ]
If you wanna get succeed in any field you have to came out as one of the best product of your college at the time of graduation ✌️

Having already graduated from Uni and passed through all those phase, I can say that the coming decade is going to be dominated by digitalization trend. Programming, data science, and machine learning is going to leave no fields untouched- engineering, management or medical science. So I can definitely recommend people to learn programming, software and other technical skills even if one undertakes a different course.

Management students have just a handful of options. Science students know the real struggle. Mbbs, engineering, bsc, IT, Ag, btech, SAT, IELTS etc etc and every other fields of management, humanities. Even in engineering field only there are about dozen options.

Education system in Nepal is a mess. We are not given enough time to figure out what major to choose. First 1 year after high school should be a time to figure out, instead students go through immense pressure to make a decision. My personal story, i went to one of the prestige college in Nepal, My sister came an year later to join the same college. She wanted to study Science, she did OK in SLC (65%), during her entrance exam, the principle told her to study Commerce instead of Science because she had a low score in SLC. Thank god she did not listen to him and instead went to another college.

Seriously wtf I think the whole purpose of making this video was only to promote or advertise a particular college. I mean its a very interesting and serious topic you guys picked up and talked about. I was enjoying the content. I thought at the end someone professional or maybe some very good education consultant would talk about this topic and give a very practical advice. But at the end the whole topic was ignored.
