  • So I reviewed the tubliss for a while now and was just ok. Going back to Bridgestone ultra heavy duty tubes on the fx350

Thanks for your honest feedback. I only have one experience with them, they had just been installed on a used dual sport bike (WR250R) I purchased by a shop down in Roseville. I checked the pressure before I left the house and about 6 miles into my ride it failed on the front and I was completely flat. Tire stayed on the rim and I was able to limp my way home but a perfect riding day was ruined and it was not a good first impression. Like you, I've talked to other people that run them and same thing, pretty mixed reviews.

Gorilla tape for rim and Stan’s tubeless tire sealant for mtb’s. Any type of mtb sealant works good. IRC ve33s is a hard seal with tubliss but mine sealed fine with about 4-5 oz of stans. The OG idea was to ride a burly tire at like 2-0 psi, like a desert IT or some other burly tire, they work great for that.. but once you get to around 6-7 psi.. I agree hd tube is fine. Uhd tubes are a pita to install though..

I've had them for 4 years and ridden with the low pressure on zero in the mud, and never had the high pressure fail, then you do get better traction. You wont last long on 0-2 psi on a tube but you can ride all day on tubliss.

How about Mousse? Too much weight?

expensive and a pain to install. But the main reason for me is I like to adjust my pressure for the terrain I’m riding. Like if I’m doing a fast pace ride I’ll air them up and if I’m doing some slow slick stuff I’ll air them down.

Exactly tubliss more complex / more things to go wrong.
Dent a rim = loss of air
Easier to puncture a tyre than tyre + tube
For me I like the extra damping and traction of a worn in mousse. But yes more a pain to install 👍
Have you compared a back to back tube vs mousse ?

I went to lucioli tubes this year on new bike. Still have tubeless on my other bike to compare.

I got a mystery bike and its got a tubliss system. I'm sure I accidentally destroyed the expensive part when I just tried to take my tire off. How do I got back to a normal tube? Now that I have an extra hole in my wheel. What do I do to return to normal?

Just buy a bead lock. The hole will be alittle big but it’s fine.

Bn down that road tublis not for me im a bib moose guy I get just as good of traction for the type of riding I do and having a flat never enters my mind and I don't have to check air pressure every time I ride I ride same bike you do but mine is a 22fx350
