- A bird photography trip to RSPB Snettisham in Norfolk, UK, to see one of the wader wonders of the world. At high tide upwards of 200.000 Knot and many other waders make their way to the shore, Murmurating as they go. They begin to make their way back to the Wash as the tide recedes,
The Sony A1 with the Sony FE 600mm f4 was used for all still shots and the Sony A7R4 with the FE 200-600 f5.6-6.3 for the video clips.

There may have been “only” 60,000, but it was still spectacular! Goosebumps! Thanks for trudging all that way to share something we may never get to see otherwise.
It is quite an event Sonia and we’ll worth the walk even with all the kit. Thank you for watching!
Hi Phil, great video. When are the knots there in big numbers? Wouldn't want people turning up to find they're Knot there (Sorry couldn't resist that)
😀 they spend the winter on the Wash. November to January in greatest numbers especially in cold winters.
Hey Phil, The murmurations were incredible. I really enjoyed the music in this one. It reminded me of Kenneth Lynne a bit. Do you recall which track it was in Epidemic Sound?
Hi Philip, I’m abroad at the moment but when I return home I’ll take a look and let you know.
