a trip to six flags doesn't "hold value" either but people still go. fun things are fun, and that can be value enough!

So true...sometimes you're just paying for the experience. I'm into cards strictly for the fun factor
I'll give this to Panini, they are stuffing guaranteed autos into formats like Megas that Topps 100% should be doing. At the pricepoints for Topps, they should be increasing that bang for the buck, not decreasing. Sure, you'll get a lot more 5 buck autos, but you may just get a 5 buck auto after dropping 200 bucks on a Topps Chrome Hobby, or a 2 buck relic in a flagship Hobby for 100 bucks. That said, Panini should pony up for the license and create more of a competition in baseball. That might motivate Topps to get an NBA license. Panini ought to be raking in enough from their football and basketball loot.

I've opens probably around 10-12 blasters and megas of series 1 and 2 and never got an auto 😢. I want to keep doing it but I'm not having much fun and horrible luck
A regular Topps flagship Hobby Box should have some sort of auto AND Relic in it to support the fun silver pack. Even if the ink is of a B-Lister. I shouldn’t have to buy a Hobby Jumbo to guarantee an AUTO and 2 relics on flagship. I have pulled RC autos from blasters. A cool treat even if it’s a sticker auto of Logan Allen.
@@MrHahaveryhappyif you want autos rip Big League Hobby Boxes. They are a bargain and can be bought dirt cheap on multiple sites. Easiest and lowest cost to get fun autos for relevant players.
I love the Jay Buhner because it reminds me of that Seinfeld episode where George Costanza's dad ranted about trading Buhner to Seattle.
Nice rip! Watched a leaf trinity unlicensed case get opened last night! It sells for about $160 a box 12 in a case there was A Crews auto /5, Elly auto /10, and some of the nastiest patch autos you've ever seen! I don't usually like unlicensed stuff but some of the stuff is just undeniably great!

The inserts and rated rookie cards from this set are cool looking! Unlicensed, I don’t care, they look great and do have some value. I think you ripped some very nice cards! Thanks for sharing! I may get some more myself!

I also got this not too long ago. Good product. I think it was 45... Got an auto of a Rangers prospect, which I am a Ranger fan. I also got a Leaf Trinty... 6 cards, all autos. It had two 1/1 and one of them was a Paul Skenes black printing plate! Not bad!!

@@westernnycards It's crazy how much value there could be. Twice now I've spent somewhere around $150 to $175 on unlicensed product that contained only autos... I hate that it isn't licensed but I'm pulling some esthetically appealing cards that are low numbered and either have some value today, or they are prospects which may could go up. Overall, it's different, but it ain't bad imo.
Donruss Baseball is incredible this year. I've had some really good luck and will buy more lol

My brother got a cool Bobby Witt Jr AUTO from this Mega + a Spencer Jones relic. I’m still on the fence about this product. There are some cool insert ideas in this box. However, on so many of the base cards Panini does a ZERO job/first week of learning Photoshop kind of job on chosing and editing images to mask the logos and team names. The Bobby Valentine base card is dreadfully bad. Certain action shots do work better for “hiding” logos/team names. I’m curious how limited they are on chosing photography.

I totally agree about the autos. In 2019 I bought this product looking for Doninguez. I pulled 1 that's worth about 250 now. Also pulled a Gunner, Steer, Hinds and a few Burleson's.

One of the coolest cards I’ve ever pulled was unlicensed. 2018 Donruss Baseball, ripped a box at my LCS (it was $75 or 80 at the time) and got 3 autos. Don’t remember the first, 2nd was a Passing the Torch Reggie Jackson/Aaron Judge (on the cards I hate, with autos on each side) and lastly, an Ohtani Rated Prospect On Card Auto #4/50. It was his first American auto card and I was so jazzed up to get it

Got a hobby of Donruss the other day, zero Skenes but so much color and numbered cards. Pulled a sweet Bobby Witt Jr Bomb Squad Red numbered 99 of 99. Already flipped it on Ebay. Fun rip!

Dylan Head was part of the Padres trade to the Marlins for Luis Arraez. He was also a sleeper for a lot of collectors when 23 Bowman Draft came out. Awesome rip! You are a true collector and it shows. That is something a lot us appreciate. Thank you.

People that say “but they don’t hold value” don’t always seem to realize that there’s significantly less fun things I’ll spend 60 bucks on in an average night lol. So I’ll gladly spend 60 bucks on a product like this and have WAY more fun than I would spending that same money elsewhere 🎉

If Panini ever gets licensed they'll give Topps a run for their money. The way they design their inserts and parallels are way sharper than Topps.

Hmmm. Hobby boxes are $150 and give you 1-2 autos and 192 cards. Megas are $50 and give you 90 cards plus an auto AND a mem. 3 boxes equals 360 cards, 3 autos, 3 mems, and cost the same as a hobby box. ?????
Seems like 3 megas is really good value as long as it ends up being 1 auto and 1 MEM most of the time
@westernnycards I'd say even with the 48 inserts per box; Megas still may be better. Would make for an interesting Profit Challenge video
