Hey there. This is the first video I watched on your chanel. Just wanted to leave a quick compliment. Your enthusiasm and genuine excitement for things you found out during your review really made this video fun to watch. Things like walking and manually counting the 1000 steps is a really nice experiment, that provides trustworthy information.
Since I am mainly looking for a smartwatch to use on daily commutes and also for hiking, but don't want to spend 1000€ on a garmin, I am really interested in the gps performance in remote locations. But I guess thats a niche thing, so reviewers won't tackle that sort of test for their overall reviews.

Yes I do agree with you on watch size i.e 44mm should have an option and 5G support. Alternatively, can we consider the Amazfit balance?

I am coming from a Casio Protrek WSD-F20 and have been looking for a replacement since it is now 5 years old (time to retire). I have been looking for a good Android Wear smart watch that was similar in size and function and have not appreciated what I have been coming across because they look flimsy until now. I have watched your review and some others about it. Based on the information you provided such as Dual Chip, Battery Life, OLED Display, Taking calls via blue tooth (I miss that from my Asus Zenwatch2), water resistance and durability, this is the one I am going to purchase. Thank you for your review.
They could have used the Snapdragon W5+ which has an integrated co processor that is way more efficient and runs seamlessly with wear os giving better battery life and helps reduce the bulk. But of course oneplus has to go in a round about way and use the non+ W5 chip
Can the fake crown can still be made functional via a software update? I hope it can. But what a missed opportunity here by OnePlus. Rotating crown makes a sea of difference in terms of navigation on a device as small as the smartwatch.
Regarding to some rig down, it is a fully functional crown so they can make it work via update. But I dont know if thats true or just a rumor

Do you think that initial usage will justify the battery life? Like common dude the normal user use the watch for more than 1 year and there is no option for battery replacement or exchange option in India.

Seriously, when I saw the rave headlines of all videos regarding the battery 🔋 life of this smartwatch I was expecting 4-5 days in smart mode, but no, it's no better than a Galaxy Watch 5 Pro or TicWatch Pro 5, no rotating bezel (and yet, there is no lack of borders on this OnePlus Watch 2, they are more than abundant 🤧) or crown, no fall detection, no ECG...
In fact, it's the testers/youtubers (in reality, they're more salespeople than anything else) who make brands today allow themselves to release such mediocre products at such high prices, pfff 🤦🏽♂️
You are right with reviewers. On the other hand, OnePlus really gives its products this smooth user experience after some fails again. Owned OnePlus 7 Pro for years, still am happy with it. But after I bought OnePlus Pad and saw that they really got back on their track with this fluidity, etc., I waited for OnePlus 12 introductiom, bought it and do not regret, now I pre-ordered also this Watch 2. The fact is that I even did not need tablet, but it is kind of pleasure to use it, if you know what I mean.
Then, everything has got its minuses, flaws, you can find. But it looks like they really try hard to make them good products, though you you can never please everybody. Others can wait for Watch 3, which could probably be much better option for them. I personally do not need LTE, etc.
Is it easy to create waypoints?
I'm glad OP decided to fix the battery problem. My Watch 4 Classic LTE doesn't give me a full day of battery if used to it's full potential. Would have loved an LTE option because with that much battery I could go for workouts without carrying my phone. With my current watch I can but it'll drain the battery in 2 hours with Buds connected to the watch for music, which is annoying because the charging is awfully slow too. And the battery is the only bad thing about my watch.
OP should have gone forward with an LTE variant so many people would consider switching to it. Hopefully they do it next year. I'm sticking to Samsung for the ecosystem (I sound like iSheep now 🥲). Hopefully Samsung fixes the battery too!

Your views on Garmin Venu 3 ?
I don't want a phone on my wrist. I am sticking to Amazfit as it has the functionality that I need (quick replies, smart assistant, route tracking with access to multiple GPS, at least 10 days battery life) . I don't take calls on my watch. It's weird, silly, and stupid projecting conversations in public. For me it is Amazfit or Garmin.
You're taking it the wring way. Havign lte on watch allows one to have the phone kept at home while on a jog or when working out and you don't have to really use the watch speaker to speak out loud. The bt headset you wear can easily act as the earphones for having a normal conversation.
Fitbit was the cheap and best.. but Google bought it and killed it.. 😢😢

Bro I mean why don't i see much reviews of the oneplus watch 2. Long term reviews would be next to watch out for but nothing on youtube. As a prospective buyer i would want a review on the performance of the watch, the fitness tracking, the battery and many more long term parameters.
Oppo watch had done this dual processor design 2 years back. But yes Oppo is OnePlus sister company. However Oppo second processor would kick in only when watch has exhausted the battery and enters power saver mode

I don't think it is bulky at all. The Casio G-Shock GBD-H2000, yes, that is a bulky sports watch. Nice review, good energy, lots of b-roll, nice audio too. What camera did you use for your b-roll footage? Did OnePlus let you keep the review OPW2 or did you you have return it after three weeks?
I think other reviewers missed to mention LTE availablity.
No LTE no deal for me.
I currently use Samsung galaxy watch 5 LTE.
Thought of giving this as gift to my parents but no LTE is let down for me.

8:39 samsung watch 6 classic is actually more accurate as you can see time that he started tracking 16 seconds earlier on one plus watch 2 than samsung watch 6 classic .So in my opinion samsung watch 6 classic is far more accurate.
I think I am gonna buy one especially since I have a 11r and the fact that apart from LTE everything's great on this
If NFC can't be used for payments, then can it be used for NFC tags to control smart devices? What is the use of NFC here?, lte must because I can't carry my phone while jogging, if lte is an option I would have bought it anyway. Let's hope for lte in the future.
i started usnig a galaxy watch 5 ablout a year ago
so i am asuming the watch 2 is better performence but slightly less optimized software, i dont know this its just an asumption, as samsung has been doing this well for a long time

Apart from the review, I was alarmed at the sight of two punch holes appearing on my laptop near bottom left corner. Then I realized it wasn't my laptop screen but something with the video shot from the left of anchor.
