Bought it! Can’t wait to start using this in my outdoor shoots! It could be a v-flat alternative too for studios.
HELL YES!! and totally agree on v-flat for studio.
That looks amazing, ....ordering one, for sure! Thanks Sal
Have fun!
awww snap!! Gonna have to invest in one of these. Thanks Sal!
youll love it!
Great Video!!
Glad you enjoyed it
You’re so dope 🔥🔥🔥
I’m gonna get me one and SF 2025, I’ll let you know if it was worth it!
Please do!!
The idea of the little window to shoot throug is interesting. But I don't understand why someone would attach 2 FJ200 to this thing, with the light being so close to the diffusion fabric it wont be as soft as a softbox, also you'll be losing a lot of power.
As for the fj200s. I mean the results speak for themself. That’s some soft light of her in the red. Covering most of her body. Hence the size and softness of the light. So I have to disagree w you.
@@SalCincotta1 It is not thaaaaaaat shoft, you can see al the flower shadows cast on the leggins, also in the second picture the shadow of the face on the hat is almost razor sharp. (and its due to the flashes, since tits a cloudy day)
Its a good fill light, I have to admit it, and more important is easy to carry and multi functional.
P.S. Sorry for my bad grammar, English isn't my first language.
@@SalCincotta1 I love the idea of the light mount, however, unless the subject is sitting, it really then requires someone, like in your video, to hold the entire scrim and light up so that the light direction of correct.
@@StephenRansom no doubt. just like any light modifier would.
@@SalCincotta1 well, we have light stands for that if not too windy. I love the idea but often have no assistant.
You have a link! Looks amazing great tool
In the video and in comments. Enjoy!!
be nice t a shot of how much light coverage from the flash onto the diffusion is covered....
Interesting concept. I've seen the shoot through hole in the past with some other products. My biggest concern for this is wind. Seems like any mild wind is going to play havoc with it or any one holding it.
thats what the stakes are for. :) which i used on the beach. :)
@@SalCincotta1 we have serious wind here in Arizona. An assistant holding that will have their hands full plus I would be afraid of that reverse folding like an umbrella does in wind.
@@chrisfrailey1493 So true! Too expensive for such a flimsy X-frame with a hole. I wouldn't trust any outdoor shoot with that. I've been using reflectors with holes in them for over 50 years. Backlit scrims, large reflective flags, V-panels, and Styrofoam panels with holes. Picked that up from lighting film sets. Nothing new at all.
Where were your beach shots taken?
down in jacksonville
