How did you deal with the width of the crown Vic frame and track width fitting under the merc? Do you have a video of you setting the body on the vic frame?
I don't have any more videos right now. I've had some stuff happen where I had to take a break from working on the car but there should be some more videos soon.
Soo... I'm wondering because i also have a 1955 Mercury i am contemplating my options and i have a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis, but i ruled out frame swap because the GM has so much more track width and the other options to modernize chassis are so much easier than hacking up a frame to change it in all directions and having to come up with new steering gear anyway... How are you getting this to fit under a 1955 Mercury?
Scott needs to get back in the weight room it looks like...
A shorter rear gear would help a ton in doing long ass burnouts. Trade off is higher rpm at freeway speed.
U saved my day I have a 56 fairlane looking to do a lsx is there a way to contact u for information

You lost me at LS. A 4.6 is probably much more reliable than an LS if you have DOD especially.
