oni wolf : I am agree with that. I just received my new Luna pineapple tatoo and it is really amazing for the price. It has a really great sustain and projection. The intonation is very good for a soprano. The sound is colorful. I also enjoy the shark's tooth design.

I don’t know about other people, but my first uke is about 60 dollars. After being played on for three months, its higher frets started to sound terrible, sometimes it even won’t make a sound. Can’t wait to receive my pono.

I like them both! The soprano (first one featured) has a sweet tone; and the pineapple tattoo is equally pretty in sound and looks, but obviously different. I'll pass on the others, ha. I'd like to find a little vintage Martin Uke ... By the way, I LOVE the playing. If this video doesn't sell Ukes, I don't know what will. Thanks for posting this.

The "guitar shape" is a standard Ukulele shape. The round shape is a "Pineapple" body shape. I'm new to Ukulele, so that's all I can tell you... I've no idea why someone would want one over the other. Hope this helps you get answers.
I think for a smaller uke, the pineapple shape adds a little deeper and louder sound. Esepcially in the smaller concert sizes. I have a small pineapple and a concert shape I Can tell it's a little louder and fuller sound.

Bought a Luna concert, not for the price (AU$250), but because of the wonderful tonal quality - which was sweeter than others I'd looked at.
