I really like these NIK tutorials. 2 in one week. Thanks Dave!
This is the first video you bring out where the original looks better than the enhanced photo…maybe a matter of taste 😊
You're right Ron, its all just a matter of taste. Hopefully I have demystified this filter, its a good one!
Thank you!
After watching your video I will certainly experiment with this Monday Morning filter. There is so much to be discovered in PS/Nik. 😊Thanks
Thanks Dave, will give it a try. Great to see you back in NIK 😀
I've never used the Monday Morning filter because I didn't understand it and didn't like the initial rendering. I'll. be going back to play with it after watching your tutorial. Thank you
Very nice, Dave. Thank you!
This is great. I took one of my 75mm long-range macro iphone (Moment lens) shots that was very crisp on a leaf. This worked perfectly. I am digging these. Thank you!
I have not used the Monday Morning Filter, but I can see good uses for this filter. Thanks Dave, fun and informative to see some Nix editing tutorials.
Hi Dave, thank you for introducing me to NIK Collection 5 and now 6. With the possibility of clipping the highlights and shadows. Couldn't we use your method in TK9 to set us up for success by using the color grading tool to protect the highlights and shadows? Then sent the picture to the NIK Collection 6?
Hi Dave, gave it a try. Added a bit of Glamour Glow, just had to watch the highlights
I like the finished result. I have Nik 5 sounds like worth the upgrade?
Would you go into PS when you're finished with NIK and get rid of all the distracting twigs? Enjoy seeing how the Nik plugins work.
You can do that before or after but sure, lot's of great removal tools in Photoshop.
You SA Hould have released it on a Monday!
Bisher noch nie benutzt, weil ich diesen Filter völlig uninteressant fand. Aber ich werde ihn nun doch einmal testen, weiß aber immer noch nicht so richtig, wofür er sich wirklich eignet.
soo what do you do when the trile is over
Hi Dave - I have a topaz question. I got a new computer and it's a beast. RTX 4090 and a bunch of other goodies. The original topaz studio won't work. Studio 2 works fine. I prefer the original to studio 2. Any ideas how I can fix this? Thanks!
Kirk. I don't know that answer. Maybe someone else will see your comment and will have the answer.
Cool! Thanks!
Do you use a tablet with NIK, I have a Wacom and they don not work for me
I do use a tablet.
After it becomes a smart object, can it be reconverted to a jpg?
You can rasterize the layer if you no longer need it as a smart object.
Way to much work for in my opinion little gain. I suppose there times when a filter like this would be useful but it would be rare. Good to know more detail about what these filters do.
