Love my mytee and in need of help with the model 2001cs. The pump and heater not working. Did any one had this problem and what to do to get it working again.
Some good information I didn't think of before. One question, does it help or hurt to start with hot water in your solution tank so the heater doesn't have to work as hard getting there temp up to its max?
I’ve been having an issue with my Mytee lite 8070 Every time I turn the heater on the water pump starts leaking where the 2 cables are connected . Can you please tell me what is causing this problem?
Sorry to hear that! It sounds like it may be a failed check valve, call our office at 858-679-1191 or visit mytee.com and look for warranty support and we can help you resolve the issue.
I came across a older extractor. I wanted to put a heater and I chose a mytee 1200 watt . But I'm not sure how to wire it. So call mytee to ask if I could get a wire diagram to switch then plug. But just to be told it's not our machine they can't help me Why is that?
Our reps are not trained to be familiar with any manufacturer's machines other than ours, so they would be unfamiliar with another machine and how to best wire them. We can absolutely share a wiring diagram of one of our machines with the 1200W heater in it if that would be helpful, I've linked to one below. @@myteeproducts i have a portable with heat -exchanger that is bad , the machine is out of production and the part is very expensive and not sure if repairable; could one of these heaters work - the position of the heater is horizontal
Is there any numbers as to throughput on the heater blocks (mine is a 8070), It seems my heater is not heating the water well. From 70F tank water, The fog coming out only seems luke warm to me on my hand. When water flows through the heater block, should it it around 200F on exit, or does it come down (does heater keep up with the flow rate in other words). I ohmed out my heater element and it shows 16 ohms and 0 ohms ata the two thermostats, so I am thinking one of the thermostats has lost its ability to remain closed in use, or there might be scale in the heater block that I can not see or detect. I am wondering about the through-put for both fear of restriction and curiosity if the heater block can keep up with the pump flow going through it. I seem to get good mist at the distil end jet on the wand as far as I can tell. I read the document on testing the heater unit and it talks about measuring the amperage at the heater element.. but also talks about using a continuity tester for that function.. Is this a mistake (ohm it out with continuity meter or measure amperage with ammeter?). Hope all that makes sense and you can understand my questions for you..

Any videos on maintenance of the heater i.e. cooling it down or even draining it or perhaps descaling it?
