I’m 56 and am laying on Star Wars sheets right now. Making up for being too poor to have much SW merch as a kid. I was 9 when I saw SW opening week and have been hooked ever since. By the time I was 15 my Mom signed me out of school for a “doctor’s appointment” to see the first showing of Return of the Jedi. I may be getting older, but that doesn’t mean I have to grow up.
Waterfuls ! Wow they really take me back ! I never see them mentioned in any nostalgic looks at '80s toys I love that you included them. I also had Castle Greyskull and the walkie talkies. Wanted a Garfield lamp but never got one. I have Star Wars sheets now 😊 This was a fun video. So glad I was an '80s kid !
i got castle greyskull for Christmas when i was a kid. i had only one of them waterfall's back them. the one i had is where you try to get the loops on the hooks.
Just discovered this channel through a RUclips recommendations. This video is so cool, and fun to see what life was like in the '80s. If possible, I would love to a '90s and/or '2000s bedroom essentials!
I was most fortunate to get a pair of walkie-talkies for my 12th birthday. Me & my younger brother had fun with them. My cousin had one of those water toys, but it was the one where you try to stack rings onto a post.
There were no walkie talkies in Home Alone, I've seen that movie more than a billion times and I know there's never been a scene where Kevin is using a walkie talkie to talk to anyone. You're delirious and I suggest you watch the movie again,
Narrator: "Kids" loved the Care Bears back then. Me: No, little girls loved the Care Bears, not "kids". Boys didn't give a rip about the Care Bears except maybe to mock them.
Not even all girls--i was 8 in 1983 and i thought they were stupid. (He-Man/She-Ra, GI Joe, Barbie--things you could manipulate or be 'active' with. Stuffed animals didn't make sense to me as a toy.)
Hey yo! There are no Walkie Talkie’s in home alone and they messed up E.T. The extra terrestrial they remastered it and replaced the guns with Walkie Talkie’s but in actual fact of the original E.T. Had shotguns they replaced them with Walkie Talkie’s Just saying ❤

But Nowhere was the Meth-Head Bear, Dylan Mulvaney-Bud Light Bear, or even Joseph Epstein Bear. You know, the bear that Doesn't Hang itself.
