Well it's 28th December and I turned on the BBC and they're still banging on about Christmas which was, I think, four days ago, so I immediately turned it off! This video is why I enjoy watching RUclips so much instead. Great fun. I liked the way the driver referred to someone as a "Pillock" a beautifully descriptive word which needs no dictionary definition. Then the new girl from Castleford and the way her colleague said "Castleford!" with hidden meaning, which had me laughing. Wonderful film, let's have more, thanks.
My Train arrived with camera crew once, I threw them out the cab. My boss once tried to 'bully' me into having a camera crew in my cab, he said they have permission to be there...."not by me the don't"
is there any way to translate what the drivers say? ore is it a old unknown language :D trying to understand what they say from first time i saw this vid. nevermind someone can talk like this from generation X. haha
1st class catering need to watch this, see what 1st class service is! Todays services is 10% of what it used to be! Sad to see the railway has gotten so much worse over the years and yet so much more expensive! We need to bring back those good old days!!!
Hey this was my first day on the job.I was the new chef.
Did you last, or was the head chef right?
I love this documentary. I wish we could go back to that era.

I loved this programme as a kid. The northern train driver fascinated me the way the spoke. I’m from the south east lol
