Arrival of pandas at Schiphol / Aankomst panda's op Schiphol

The two pandas as a gift from China arrived with this KLM Boeing 747-400 Combi on Wednesday 12/04/2017. The aircraft had special stickers under the cockpit windows for this special event.
De twee panda's die wij van China te leen krijgen arriveerden op woensdag 12 april 2017 met deze speciale KLM Boeing 747-400 Combi vlucht. Het vliegtuig had speciale stickers onder de cockpit voor deze bijzondere gebeurtenis.

Thank you so much for sharing the welcome event of Panda, they are the first Panda couple in beautiful Netherlands and I am sure the Dutch people will give great care and love to the Pandas. There are some negative thoughts about Panda causing too much money to host , but the whole economic growth that Pandas bring to the area and the Zoo will be more than it spends. The sale of tickets from Panda visitors its self is a huge financial gain for the zoo and the Dutch children will have the experience with Pandas to learn nature.Thank you for taking care of our Chinese Pandas , THANK YOU!
