I think this should just be the official launch song for any space travel.

Brilliant version! Countdown is a good example of a song that can linger for another several minutes near the end.

I saw their "Signals" tour in '83 (at the Buffalo Aud - great place, RIP), and the played this close to the end and showed the launch on the screen behind Neil. Of course, it was a lainch of a shuttle with the tank painted white. What an awesone show. It was my first rock concert.

Both Launch vids are great , but this one is just - FUCK YEAH !!! Great job !!! and No one else on Earth can even approach being able to put something this awesome to music !!! :) and one more blip - notice the speed at separation of the SRB at the end - the SR-71 still flew faster than that ! Salute to all at NASA, Rush and Kelly Johnson and Team at Skunk Works !!!

Like this one even better! But ultimately I much prefer to see it synced up with the original sts-1 footage but love the brief visual history lesson here.

Hey Still Kicking, I just found your videos and absolutely am blown away. I have an idea for another awesome video you would ve so perfect for. The song, Vapor Trail. Once again you could combine footage of the 2 shuttle disasters to tell the story on this one. That song is also very relatable ti the tragedy in Neil's life at that time so plenty of material and emotion to draw inspiration from. You're welcome and i look forward to that or any other cool new videos.

For what this song lacks in guitar solo's it makes up for in the verses. It almost feels to me like Alex was paying homage to Saxon and their song about the first moon landing "The Eagle Has Landed" with his playing here.

Really is a fun song to play on guitar - tricky at times too!

Great song and great visuals. Some of the visuals at the end are from "Riding the Booster" which is worth watching about 100 times: ruclips.net/video/2aCOyOvOw5c/видео.html. Thanks for posting. Loved this album when it came out when I was in high school.
