hi and thanks for sharing, I don't like to use any loctite especially on these bolts that are torque to only 8 ft lbs but I really respect those who use loctite in these cases, personally I believe those nuts where never torque well when installed n finally that caused the issue. Why not put some loctite on the starter's electrical connection bolts.
