Hope you’re feeling much better?
It’s never advisable to starve yourself for any reason. I also have ulcer so I can relate. If you decide to try to lose weight again please take it slow. Don’t jump into it head first.
You can do this: reduce your carbohydrate intake meaning your veggies and protein should be more than carbohydrates. Take walks, increase your distance every week or 2 weeks, drink a lot of water. It’s a slow process but it works. Take care of you❤

Ulcer isnt permanent so try to eat on time. And frequently. You can do portion control if you're trying to lose weight. Some foods that can help is oats, black coffee, boiled eggs, boiled potatoes and plantains,beans without red oil. Hang in in there weight loss isn't easy but its possible.
My biggest advice is to check your basal metabolism rate on the Internet and start eating at a calorie deficit.
Then for junk foods and excessive carbohydrates, what you dont have in the house you won't eat.
