    So all the audio comes out of that small speaker or is it integrated to the stock audio system?

      Hello, sorry for the delayed response! The audio is integrated through the stock audio system; just change the radio mode to AUX or iPod mode. When in AUX or iPod mode, the audio will play through the car speakers.

    What does the small black box with red wire (6:40) do? Can we install the setup without it.

      Hello, that's the external speaker for CarPlay announcements for when you are listening to AM/FM radio or Sirius/XM. They use the same AUX port as we do for the CarPlay unit and can't be used at the same time. We suggest to download an AM/FM APP and the Sirius/XM APP to use since you have CarPlay.     Are you still able to use the existing USB/iPod ports in the front to charge your phone after this installation?

      Yes, the OEM connections remain the same, our system has it's own USB connection; or you can connect wirelessly. Thank you

    Hello. I am interested in purchasing the UNAVI system for the Infiniti qx80. For my clarification, Android auto and Apple car play are wired only, correct?

      @@UNAVItech Thank you for the information. Do you have a recommended professional installer? Also, is there a memory/ram upgrade option for the Unavi? I would like to make sure that the systems touch screen remains very responsive and not sluggish.

      @@dkoneify Hello, you can check our installer locator, we also have some Pro Installers in certain areas you can pay for the install on our site. There is no upgrade just make sure you phone is up to date and the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are up to date. Thank you

      Hello, we have found the wireless in aftermarket CarPlay to be unstable, it drains the battery quickly since you are using all the sensors, GPS etc. and would have to plug in your phone . Our system is wired, when you plug it in it detects if it's an Apple or Android phone. Please let us know if you need anything else. Thanks

    Does the box come with everything needed to install? I noticed on the website there was add on wiring. Is that needed? Or just what's in the box?

      Hello, yes our system is complete. You would just need to tools to remove the dashboard etc. The wiring I think you are talking about is an optional USB extension cable to replace the 12 volt charger in the arm rest. The CarPlay USB cable comes out from the bottom of the dashboard in the installation manual otherwise. If you need anything else please let us know. Thank you!!

    Does the vehicle need to already have Navigation/gps for this unit to work?

      @@EazyHop22 Our unit uses the original touchscreen, our system is an add-on the the OEM system. You can switch between OEM system and CarPlay with the arrow back button on the steering wheel.     I bought a UNAVI UGD621 for my new car. My car was hit while parked. There is more than enough damage that it should have triggered the event recording. But it didn’t. I have tons of videos of my car just parked, no idea what triggered an event recording for those. But when I need it to find out who do this, nothing. Add this unacceptable event with all the other problems this camera has ( downloading videos just stops, software doesn’t work with macs, app stops working saying it can’t connect when you don’t need it to because you’re in download view, etc.) and it’s a huge rip off to buy and have installed. A dash cam is supposed to save you money in case there is a hit and run. This dash cam just cost me money and is worthless. I emailed the company and they said that since I bought it and had it installed from a third party, that they would take no responsibility for how the camera works.
