Rare footage of Mike giving 90% and possibly more :D
Great setlist, fav era, so happy this was captured!
One of the best shows I've ever witnessed. It was so incredible to be there, part of this hot sweaty swaying mass of humanity singing along while the city was covered in ice and snow outside.
I WAS THERE TOO!!!!! Elbowed my way in - front row atw. 🤩
philty phil! first time i see this live!! great to see some HPZ songs. excellent setlist, would love to hear it today. thank you!
Insane setlist. So many rare tracks
Philthy Phil Philanthropist é uma delas! \m/
they played what's on heavy petting zoo (1996)
thank you for uploading! I saw them that year on warped and harrassed Fat Mike from behind the fences near the tour buses, lol. He was sarcastic and funny and he talked to me for a second. I remember the jokes they told on stage were so funny i actually consider that my first stand up comedy show. HPZ is my favorite album the 90s !
Awesome! First time i saw philty phil live 👍👍 freedom like a shopping cart is another one im lookkng for
I was at this show! My first ever concert at 16. There was an ice storm that night and while waiting for the doors to open my hair froze into a block of ice.
I was there too!! This show is one of my most cherished memories because it was the first time I really experienced the way punk rock kids come together to take care of their own. It felt like a big stinky drunk family that I couldn't have been happier to be a part of. I'm stoked to share this memory with you, whoever you are lol. I remember everybody being all huddled up in line before the show trying to keep warm, passing a bottle of whisky around, and then after the show people were going around using the covers of the NOFX CD's they had just bought at the show to scrape the ice from the windshields of anyone that needed it. That was a really special night for me. I was 16 and learned a lot about life that night 💖
I like to feel that was the scene back in the 90s. I grew up outside of Detroit and had similar experiences going to shows downtown every week. Great story.
That’s awesome! I saw them two years later at Warped Tour for the first time. So many good times at La Luna... every time I walk past 9th and Pine it gets a little dusty.
We came all the way from aloha. Mom begged me and my brother not to go. We drove an 1982 civic downtown in a ice storm. We wouldn’t have missed it for anything. I still have a full ticket for that show, from one of our friends whose mom wouldn’t let him go.
snow storm and they wear shorts 🤔
Wow that setlist is awesome!!!
This is an EPIC show!
One of my friends owned most of their other albums, but the first one that I purchased was Heavy Petting Zoo.
I fell in love with NOFX, I bought the blue t-shirt, and purchased the LP banned cover entitled "Eating Lamb"
Much love for NOFX🤘
I was there at seventeen years old. I remember it was an icy night and we barely made it from aloha. Our bong water had froze in the car while we were in the show. I think the show was only 12$. We wrecked the car in the ditch at the end of my street and walked the rest of the way home. Good times and great memories.
@rocket grunt Dude survived, didn't he? Sounds like a good and memorable time.
Cool🤘🤘
@cru Jones who are you? I lived in aloha and was at this show too. I’m 41 now.
@@a11drewpsorry I never have my notifications on. Chris Hart I’m 44 so a lil older.

This might be the best I've ever heard them live. Heavy petting zoo Era is underrated
Totally agree
Ribbed through so long albums were as good as it gets. Not just nofx, all the punk coming out then was great shit.
Man. Sandin holding shit together. Love him.
Mikes vocals and voice on point and excellent setlist❤😊
amazing setlist!!!! killin it
i love mike w/ hair. like 94-01 mike. its just cuz im a kid and he was kinda young then
I had tickets for this show but couldn’t make it as I lived in Salem and I-5 had been closed due to the ice storm. I had just turned 17 and would have been my first time seeing them, so great to finally “go”.
Thx for upload
I WAS THERE IN THE FRONT ROW. I'm freakin out rn. 🥳🤩🤩😍🤩🤩🥳
great playlist!
Thats a hell of set list.
Do you have anymore shows from La luna? My first concert was 1997 cheap trick and everclear at the La Luna in Portland Oregon
best live performance ever!!!
for youuu my heart was yearningggggggggg
For the "gagillionth" time, I'm on a NOFX kick and I discover this 😮 They're so on point! Great band!
never to late. enjoy
Set List top 🤘🏼
I saw them in 98 in Winston-Salem NC and it was awesome!
post more please, thank you!
amazing!!!
Wow just recently starting to get into smelly and his drum chops. What a beast!!
So crazy to see Mike actually trying!
Agreed, definitely one of their best performances I’ve seen. Anyone know of a better one?
Ice storm that night. Venue was nearly empty. I was one of a handful of people in the upstairs.
impresive
This is a fucking great show. Awesome set list..
Sé Loko 🤘
I saw them twice on this tour and they only played Hot Dog and Hobophobic from HPZ. One was at the warped Tour and the following night headlining. The only other HPZ was Melvin playing part of Bleeding Heart Disease on a break. I think Hefe or Mike broke a string. Great show
No big loss HPZ was the weakest of their 90s albums
I wonder why they never played other songs in HPZ, the black & white is a really nice one!
I was there!! 😊
This is fucking awesome
53:50 : front/misty flip. Je pense que le gars a dû se faire mal quand même un peu.
When Mike was able to jump
fantastico.
1:26 thanks for all the shoes!
Is this a video you shot by chance? I'm trying to source footage of that era.
Wasnt me who shot it, I just came by it on the internet somewhere.
why didn't they play more songs from Heavy Petting Zoo?!?!? NOFX mystery
This was the hella rowdy era for shows in Portland where you came home smelling like an ashtray got into a wrestling match with an old yoga matt and you probably had a couple bruises too.
90s Mike was great.
I was there!!!
El Hefe is insanely talented.
same tour as their "I heard they suck live" performance, less i'm mistaken.
I think i seen them on this tour in buffalo ny...the place is now a wedding hall....
I saw them for the first time in '98 at the Funhouse in Buffalo.
@@trainspotter360w high standard and the ducky boys on Abbott rd in lackawanna
@@bryanfrombuffalo7685 yep that's the one. That's the only time I got to see them that wasn't a warped tour show. They really don't hit up Buffalo very often.
Hefe looks so funny in the middle like that
wallet chains. every 90s teen skateboarder and punker had one. Jefe's.....classic
Melvin has a shirt on..WTF IS THIS?!
And fat mike has pants on. WTF
Punx is dead 🤘🏽🎧❤️
Crank is such a 90s term. If the government really wants to destroy people, they’d bring back crank lol.
Dready Mike
Wait a minute, NoFx had a dude singing before? Mind blowing
???
Haha, I see what you did there
Just because he wears dresses doesn’t make him Fat Mechela
Fat Mike was on his gaaaame this evening! Don't Call Me White was ree-dik
No Linoleum
😪
possibly missed from the beginning
Liza & Louise sounds cool a key lower! \m/
A simpler time before mike started cross dressing
Yea, no shet. Mike now, is not Mike. It broke my heart..
@@igot99problemsbutmyaltaint81 What? You mean Mike isn't what you want?
Wow release the hostage
Sooo want one of those 🐑
They had holes in the back too.
6:40 LOL
