The UK city of Portsmouth is one of fastest growing cruise ports in the UK! Portsmouth has a long history of Navy history and history of ferry connections to France and Spain, but over past ten years it has had a growing cruise market sending cruise passengers across the world on Luxury cruise liners.
In 2024 it will handle over 150,000 cruise passengers and have 90 cruise calls, rising to over 100 in 2025. Next year Portsmouth will have regular ship calls from @sagacruises , @VikingCruises , @norwegiancruiseline, @VirginVoyages and @AmbassadorCruiseLine. As well as daily connections to France and Spain on @brittanyferriesuk

Portsmouth is going to become a much larger player in the UK cruising scene and I’m all for it.
I sailed from here on Virgin last year and the service was fast and efficient which is the most important things for me.

Thanks for the info, not sailed before from Portsmouth or Virgin so looking forward to it. On arrival where do we leave our luggage? Do we take it through the terminal and hand it over at the check in desk? Thanks in advance
Do you know where you go if you have booked parking through CPS? It says it is outside the terminal but it’s not particularly clear!
Hi Olivia. CPS seem to offer a service directly outside the terminal. On a cruise day your be directed by Marshall get you car checked over and then their park it in multi-storey which is on site you see it as you drive in. Enjoy your cruise
