If you've got ikea bookshelves, I recommend buying extra shelves, you can get them separate on their website! Otherwise there's lots of spare space between the top of books and the shelves above, but not if you add an extra shelf :) Worked wonders for me, I got so much more space!
I love reorganising bookshelves. I am getting new bookshelves from IKEA soon, and I know that the Billy Bookcase has been recommended alot so I'll be getting that. I don't know how many bookshelves I'll need to get but I am excited to get organising 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Your library is beautiful and looks so organised. I would love to have this much book space. I do have a number of hardbacks, but I try and get paperbacks to save space in order to squeeze more books in! 💙 📖
I was watching another uk booktuber Who said im going to put my tree up even though it’s only November- maybe it’s different in the US but my family always puts our tree up in November. Most people I know do… I think waiting until December is a lot of work for very little time and enjoyment of it 🤷🏼♀️
Your best bet is to unhaul first then you can see what you have left then check what's been on the shelves unread for over 6 months and unhaul them . Thats how i do it. Any books I don't often go in my other bookcase.

📖📚 I don't reorganize my shelves. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment and most of my books/manga are still at my parents. When I finish reading a book I take it over to my parent's house. I didn't start unhauling books until last year, when I realized I was running out of room lol.
Shelves are looking great Jodie…. I sort every few months, I’m due to do it now really, but will wait till after Christmas now, once I take the decs down. I also seem to unhaul at the same time. Time to go read some spy family now, take care and enjoy your books 📕
