I love how you zoomed in showing us how the makeup texture and consistency actually looks like. That's a real makeup tutorial. Unlike those using filters, blurring everything out where we're unable to understand anything.
Awe thank you! I have no problem showing how makeup actually looks like! Flaws and all. Happy to hear you enjoyed watching it and hope you took away helpful tips!
Thank youuu this helped a lot!! Also thank you for not using filters, it makes me feel better knowing that skin isn’t blurred or without any dark circles :)
This might work when you’re in your 20s and have no under eye wrinkles, but trust me after 55, any concealer only on the matter how good it is eventually since then I’ve tried all these different methods. None of them seem to work if there is a way, I’d like you to let me know and maybe use an older model, so we can see the difference. Thank you
Great question! I can cover this in a video. But for a quick reply based on your feedback with your skin type, I would focus on a hydrating formula (liquid or cream.) Liquid will be thinner than cream. So if you’re wanting to cover more use a cream. Look into Bobbie Brown concealers when I was a working makeup artist, I worked for them and they’re known for their concealers and correctors for mature skin.
I started using the Kosas concealer too now - it creases like hell! What would you recommend? I tried setting it with Elf, Dermablend and Laura Mercier and it always turned out cakey. Now I use just a tiny bit of Hourglass. Doesn't look cakey but it still creases after 15mns already! I always need to correct it with a brush. Any advice how to set this concealer properly?
I think that's what I'm doing wrong and it explains why my dark circles are barely covered up by concealer. I just use a damp beauty sponge to blend it out without a brush
I really hate using makeup brushes. I have tried them and would much rather use my fingertips than brushes. My fingers seem to blend my concealer much better.
I don't think this technique would work on everyone. If you have skin on the dryer side, the concealer would dry after blending it with a brush and if you would use a sponge on top, it would move the product and can make it patchy. If you want to use a brush and a sponge, I would go with a smaller concealer brush to apply and then blend it with the sponge. Not everyone is the same though. This may work on some people :)
Yk the lines under her eyes like the deep line what is it called and is there any way of naturally making it look fuller under the eyes as I have the same kind of sunken ish eyes
I wouldn’t. You can very lightly set it but concealer creases because of our natural smile lines. You can spritz your brush with setting spray and lightly dab under the eyes to set the makeup in place.
@motdcosmetics You're right. I guess our eyes are so accustomed to seeing polish and acrylic so much that it feels like something is missing when nails are raw like this. And you are right..there is nothing wrong with them it's the perception that is tainted. I stand corrected.
I don’t have a brush tho I don’t like the way the brush blends out my makeup I already tried this and just didn’t like the brush. Is there a way you can do it with just a beauty blender?

Worked like a charm! Thank you!
Tried each step but the sponge part would show more my dark circles
yes, that can happen because the sponge takes off product. If you want the coverage in it's truest form, stick to just using makeup brushes.
You can try a dry sponge after using the brush, instead of a using wet one. Dry sponges do not absorb as much product and will give you more coverage.
I love to see it 😅 REAL skin and real beauty.
How do I know if I need a stick, crene ir liquid concealer? I have wrinkles and dry skin.

This works but the problem comes in when you set the concealer with some sort of powder
Wayne Goss has great tips if this doesn't end up working for you
He's great!

Yup! Definitely do it this way and see if you notice a difference! You should because the brush will give you the intended coverage.
Period it works😊

Whatever works for you! That’s all that matters 💕
I’ve tried many ways they never work including urs 😭 can u give me a tip that will help me do better🤞🏻

Not everyone is the same though.
This may work on some people :)

I find the concealer some yellow for me
Which shade r u using? It may be same for me.🤔
It’s a kosas concealer. I forgot what shade, probably in the 2 or 3 neutral
It helped a lot thanks and my under eye dry and have dark circles which brand do you recommend ?
Best videi thankyou
Yk the lines under her eyes like the deep line what is it called and is there any way of naturally making it look fuller under the eyes as I have the same kind of sunken ish eyes
Are you supposed to use a damp sponge? 🫨
HOW DO I GET RID OF THAT LINE UNDER MY EYES ? The same one you have i have and i wont to hid it
The concealer didn’t cover up the under eye circles at all 😕
Focus on the technique being taught not the results 😉 as one eye is covered the other isn’t
Which type of concealer is right for which skin type? What do you use to moisturize under the eyes?
Name of concealer pls ❤️
Kosas!
Which brand is good for brushes?
You came to the right spot to ask this! I developed my own brushes and motdcosmetics.com is my brand 💕
What type of dark circles do you have? I have the same!
Haha NEW MOM dark circles 😉
Will I have to put powder on top?
I wouldn’t. You can very lightly set it but concealer creases because of our natural smile lines. You can spritz your brush with setting spray and lightly dab under the eyes to set the makeup in place.
which concealer used
Kosas
Even i have under eye hollowness as you 😢😢 and thats my insecurity 😣
But your undereyes looks grey, you need a corrector and then a concealer
I have a separate video covering corrector with concealer.
حبيبتي بس الكونسيلر رصاصي
wouldn’t just applying less concealer without using sponge and just using fingers get the same effecr
Fingers are a great tool! You totally can 💕
❤
Ué, em inglês
Those nails are crying out for some love sister 😢
There's nothing wrong with natural nails.
