- Can we beat Pokemon Legends Arceus without breaking any of the ten commandments? In this challenge run inspired by @TheReconJacob, we play through all of Pokemon Legends Arceus while following a set of rules based on the ten commandments. This commandment does not only apply to worshipping other gods that aren’t God, but also tells you to not put anything above God.
By replacing Geodude with that sinful golden idol, you’re putting the shiny above the gift that God gave you. Along with that, it’s golden so you’re putting riches above God’s gift.

Also by replacing Geodude with a younger better looking Geodude, isn't that a violation of 4, Not committing Adultery? I mean that was literally the example they used in explaining how it works in this game to us. 1:15

You know, if somebody were to force you into a battle, or is actively being aggressive like Shinx, they are technically attacking you and thus retaliation is justified. Especially if stuff like Garchomp start trying to claw ya in half.

Yes do the frickin postgame. I wanna see how you manage to dropkick Togekiss off the mountain now that it's bigger than you are and also flies. And the whole superboss is about eliminating a false god aspirant.
I imagine being an atheist in the Pokemon world must be weird since these species are proven to exist. I imagine there's a lot of misotheists though, recognizing that a deity exists but that they're unworthy of worship. That's basically the Galactic plot.

Should have done the Professor Oak challenge, getting every Pokémon before starting the next area, since God literally tells you to catch every Pokémon at the start of the game.
Now what about every shiny before the next area?

Strictly speaking, this whole game is a mission from Arceus. As a result, the challenge is only possible if you consider Arceus the pokemon equivalent of the abrahamic god.

While I think you managed pretty well, I'd argue replacing Geodude with a Shiny Geodude would fail 'Thou Shall Not Covet' and 'Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery' since you're discarding a Pokemon for a more 'desirable' version of itself (therefore 'coveting' the more rare one and 'cheating' on the one you had)
That's just some nitpicking though, and the video (and especially edits) were very fun!
Yeah thats a fair point, I guess we just thought it was fine because there was no overlap between using the geodudes
"Buizel is so fast it hits two aqua jets in a row..." Christian just learned about priority moves (I believe they were still a thing in these games and you could do some fun stuff combining them with Strong/Rapid styles)
It was really satisfying chaining an agile style into a strong style

The first commandment is: Thou shalt have no other gods before me. That means you worship God first then other gods after.
3rd commandment: Self-defense is perfectly okay in the Bible. As long as you are not the aggressor than you are fine.
Thou shalt not covet means to want what someone else has. IE if someone has a fancy new car. Don't wish you had the same car.
Don't take the Lord's name in vain means don't use God in a mocking way. Saying something like, God damn it, is not taking his name in vain.
How would you do the postgame though? You're forced to catch multiple mythicals/legendaries
