Gorgeous vivid colors bursting from hand dyed paper. So much loveliness captured in one journal. It's like an art gallery visit on a small scale. Thank you Mrs. Cog. Beautiful!
Monet is my favorite artist and my husband and I were married on a life sized recreation of Monet's bridge. This is an exceptional homage to the artist and his work and life. Hearts
Elizabeth these are gorgeous!! You captured the Monet colors perfectly!! The greenhouse is a perfect backdrop and these journals pop perfectly on the green.
Absolutely Stunning! I would love to see your greenhouse tour if ever possible. I’m learning to can. So excited for gardening season!!! TFS Mrs. Cog! Big Hugs & Blessings!!❤️❤️🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️
Magnifique! I’ve visited Giverny in France - Monet’s garden. It’s breathtaking. You would love it so much. With your background on arts, colors but most of all gardens… I couldn’t walk all the way because I had to stop, to sit and just enjoy it. During the day the light really chances. Ponds, bridges trees and thousands of flowers. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Nice video. I like the books very much, especially the bright colors and foofage . Thanks for the Monet history. That was very interesting. In reality, Camille must have been very beautiful. Even today, the most beautiful faces are completely symmetrical. The rest of us are wonky-faced. That’s why we will not live forever in beautiful paintings. Ha!
Hello Elizabeth, I have been to the Monet Garden in France and it is absolutely fabulous. You have done a magnificent job on both journals, the colours just pop. Thank you so much for sharing the history of Monet, there were pictures here that I hadn’t seen before. The green house was a perfect place to film. Love Bella xx
Loved looking through your Monet journal with you and learning all about Monet and his ladies! I have the garden at Givenchy on my bucket list. I have friends who have been and say it is wonderful. The Monet pictures in your journal are beautiful - so colourful, as you say. They make perfect centre-pieces.
Absolutely GORGEOUS!!! As usual. I just l9ve how you think of details to bring your journals together. Like choosing 3 colors of thread to use. I love details too. So I really appreciate this. I always watch to see just what details you will add. Its always different. I love the history lesson too. I always research about any art or craft I do. I just have to know. Thanks for video. And for sharing the prints. Very nice. Austin,TX USA
Beautiful colours!💜💚💙 Monet is my favourite painter, then Van Gogh. I love with Monet's paintings (especially when one sees a real one in a gallery), that the scenery up close seems a bit blurry and painted with random brush strokes, but when one walks away from it, it becomes sharper and more clear untill it really comes alive and is very realistic. It's really marvellous to me how he was able to do that.
I’ve never had one of your videos come across my feed where the journal was not already spoken for. How does one get lucky enough to buy one of these journals? They are beautiful. They are stunning!
I would like to know that as well, but guess it doesn't matter on my part since I don't have my own income anyway. It sure would be a keepsake. God bless. Becky B
@@lindacull3447 nope I've never gotten to purchase anyone's journals, their are some really great ones out there, but you have to admit that Mrs Cog's journals are one of a kind. And, no I have not as yet gotten the chance to work on making my first journal. Plenty of inspired ideas from amazing RUclipsrs, just not alot of uninterrupted time. Take care and God bless. Becky B
This is exquisite. I have been Monet fan for many years, bu the collection of family paintings is new to me. I will certainly go to Etsy for those digitals.
Wow, these are so gorgeous - somebody got really lucky. I wish I could be able to buy one of your gorgeous journals, I could just look at it for hours and hours. God willing, maybe someday. I pray that you and yours are all doing well. Take care and God bless you and yours. Sincerely Becky B from Arkansas
@@sweetpeascraftingintheburb4462 hello SP, yes I've lots of subscriptions I watch. I just love Mrs Cog's journals, they are amazing. Plus I love seeing her homesteading videos as well, she has an awesome place to live, just beautiful. I hope you are doing well, we're about to start Spring very soon. Take care. Becky
Thank you. My color printer is an ink jet Canon Pixma Pro-100. Hubby went a bit overkill and got me a photographer's printer, but I do love it. The print settings allow me to play with the brightness and density of color, making it more vibrant or subtle. It's all a grand experiment with the settings and various papers. I like the photo matte paper when I'm printing pages of artists works. :-)
As I watched you turn page after page of journaly goodness, my mind was trying to figure out how to fit all of it into a greeting card. Alas, greeting cards are only a cover with no signatures, and room for only the tiniest bit of crafting loveliness. (sigh)
Oh these Monet's are just beautiful, I love the colours and the history is fabulous! I enjoyed learning all about his family. 😊💗
