Those are absolutely adorable. I am also a TB collector and there are a couple dying to be part of your familia. Hit 70 this year and downsizing to move into a senior center next year. No family to give these to so they will love being amongst your familia TB's.🥰💕🐻

OMG! These are wonderful. Beautiful job. I am always blown away by the generosity of the embellishments you use. I love anything patriotic having served in the Womens Army Corp back in the day. Our 50th anniversary was strictly patriotic. The invitations took months to make and were like small mini journals (I used Dolly Dingle paper dolls as the main focal). My sister and I and a friend spent 3 months making party favors. Even the cake I made was huge, 3 layers high and when cut each wedge looked like a flag, I was super proud of that. Your beautiful journal made me reflect back on all that. Thank you. Barb Pacific NW.

I just love your work. Sadly, my friends and family are not into things like this. Nobody sews either, so as much as I would love to make things for them, after learning so many ways to do things, even happy mail with goodies, nobody would want any of these wonderful things. You are lucky you have friends who would love these wonderful creations.
To Carolyn H. Please ! Make them for yourself. They will bring you much pleasure, start your own collection and be proud of your work. We are not all blessed with appreciative friends, don't let it waste your talents.

Carolyn Hamilton, - I have a teeny tiny little family. For years I made cards and my three ( young at the time ) loved them and saved them so obviously treasured them. After having MS ( Multiple Sclerosis ) for 25 years I really went downhill physically and cognitively. While living in a nursing home for a year I became aware of the very wonderful world of Vintage Junk Journals. I have been in my own apartment now for four years with the help of caregivers and my only child- my wonderful son. I am telling you al” of this to perhaps open your eyes and heart to go beyond your family. I have spent thousands of hours when I am
Carolyn Hamilton, I accidentally hit send. I try and try and try to complete a journal and my brain cannot pull it off. I spend countless hours on Pinterest and untold of hours on you tube and despite my strongest desires to make journals I can not pull pages together. I would love to be able to have that cognitive ability back but it will not happen. I would give anything to have a journal someone lovingly handmade, created out of so many different pieces of paper, laces, fabric, inks, burlap, sari silk, charms, eyelash trim, fake fur, faux leather lovingly made from paper, tea dyed, coffee dyed, seed dyed papers that an artist spent so much tedious time doing that grunt work, index cards, office supplies, hidden clips, something from Tim Holtz……
Your family may not be into it but perhaps you know someone like me who would treasure , so deeply greatfully lovingly touch, use or not use ( I would jot memories ) a journal that you had made. Create Carolyn, do it while you can! Keep some. Gift some! Just create! You never know what tomorrow brings and you may wake up one day and not be able to. I hope my story inspires you.
Jean West I hope you read my message to Carolyn Hamilton as well. As much as we artist love our work gifting them seems to just enhance our joy. At least it always did to me. I suggest you think outside the box and find people like me who would treasure your beautiful handmade work. I can never seem to be able to find journals from the artist we all know like Mrs Cog, Tracey Fox, Gayle, …….. before they are sold. When I lived in nursing homes for a long time there were some women just waiting to die because either their families had all passed or after being out of sight too many became out of their friends minds and they no longer visited. Imagine the joy you could bring to people who have no one or someone’s who are “too busy” with their own lives. Imagine how many times we would open and loving touch and look again and again at something you had made. Just a thought. Share your joy of your creations. ❤️❤️❤️

I am speechless. I am a very patriotic person. I absolutely love these journals. I knew that if I even tried to see if they were still for sale, I would not be that lucky. You did a wonderful job as usual. Loved the color scheme, the vintage theme, the beautiful sewing, the materials used. The ones that purchased them, are extremely lucky and the journals will be cherished and passed down from generation to generation. Thank you for sharing, but it has made me very envious of those that got one. Can one commission one to be made?

Thank you Susan. I'm not set up to print and ship, but you might consider saving the files onto a memory stick or card and taking them to a local print/copy/office store to print for you. :-)
