The entire series is like a soap opera, it's dark with a lot of trauma and sexualization but i'd say there definitely is way worse out there, i'd call it a very dark soap opera if anything ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Oh yeah and the people on the Island also love Kal due to him having done free medical work at the hospital there. Also Elena is 20, it is mentioned that she asked him to take her at 18 and he said no, she was to be married at 20 and they did it on her 20th birthday which is written about in the prequel story.
It's messy as all hell. (P.S. I literally own the whole series cause when I read them I really liked them 😅)
Edit: I DO NOT CONDONE ANYTHING IN THE SERIES, but i did read it so i thought why not comment on it.
And i will not re-read it, because i'm pretty sure i wouldn't really like it if i did.
20:37 WHAT??!!! How did that sentence get so much worse so quickly. My eye is twitching now 🤨
Just clicked on it, and i know that this is going to be good.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,kinda (morbidly) wanting to know what happens next in that college one now 🏃♀🏃♀
Look. I couldn't put it down honestly. I'm on the third one 😂.
Where... where were the pomegranates in the book that pomegranates in the title? Was it just there to try and qualify it as a Hades and Persephone retelling???
she had the pomegranate tattoo on her side
Yeah, one tattoo isn’t enough to earn its place in the title. Were there even any physical pomegranates they ate, or even saw?
My opinion exactly!!!! Plus, hades ADORED his wife
Had the BEST time watching you two! Love y’all’s friendship vibes 😊
i have watched this an ungodly amount of times, you guys are so fun
I kept hearing rath as rat which seems way more appropriate honestly
Knowing sav r miller based promises and pomegranates on her own marriage scares me
I have the rest of the series on my kindle app but i only read the first one
Oh she removed the reference to said relationship from the book btw.
This is a genious idea
The as for this video : “Are you looking to get closer to God?”
Thank you so much for this video!!! As a dark romance lover I’m definitely not going to read lord of pain now!💀
I saw promises and pomegranates on the thumbnail and screamed omg 🙈
i watched this while getting ready this morning - hated it BUT also thank you so much i love this series😭😭♥️
I'm so excited for Saraween!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you guys energy together is drunk
I think the only way for me to read these books is to be drunk.
Commenting before I’ve watched because I cannot waiiiiiiit
Loving this series lol
You guys should’ve read the prequel novella for Promises and Pomegranates. It’s even worse.
Bro I read promises and pomegranates a couple years ago and remember NOTHING
Good times, guys! Too bad the books weren't better.
I stopped and read book two before watching the part fully and omg wtf was any of that holy shit ive never e v e r wanted to murder so many men, I was literally gonna vomit like every other page

@@sarawithoutanH Girl I'm gonna combust

@@sarawithoutanH I should tell you who the stalker is hahaha cause you’re gonna die
Mel outing me in the comments
@@JanaMorgen I exposed us both thank you
@@darkestbelle_ 😂😂😂
How is that guy illiterate in college???
The authors really worded it quite well " these man are irredeemable until they are" you would only understand if you read the entire series. But they are definitely not for the faint of heart. People who love these books are a different breed entirely ( my self included 😂)
Wait, the man is in college but can't read? And he thinks reading music is like reading a book? 😂💀
The handshake took me out
😂
You guys are hilarious lmao
There's like 9 books in this series. 😭
I simply will not be partaking in any more of them 😂
@@sarawithoutanH I'm proud you got through the one. I get that there's a fan base for this....but I'm not it either.
4:05 Do they mean Nantasket? Or Martha’s Vineyard?
What are the greatest dark romance book ?
How is the guy illiterate and in college???? 😭
Wait where is the link for the other vampire book lolol
🦋 amazing video. Instant subscribe 😂
Lords of Pain is actually such a good book, i kinda enjoyed it (my family hasn’t seen me in weeks pls free me) 🤭💗
YASSS
i legit hate that this weirdass age gap creepy shit also has like. Bloodplay and cumplay because i unironically kinda love that shit in fiction helpppp. its like one moment its something absolutely horrific and then the next its some shit that id genuinely indulge in in writing thats so fucking funny to me.
edit:THAT SECOND BOOK SUCKS!!! The first book at least seems like, based on the brief synopsis, a book thats meant to be seen as like a kink fantasy thing. the age gap shit is really the worst part abt it tbh, the rest of it sounds like a very much…. yknow. fetish fantasy.
but that second one is JUST awful
I love the dark romance genre but holy shit most published books in that genre are godawful and ridiculous…
fr the obsession they have with virginity and innocence feels so p3dophelic it's not even funny anymore it's just weird as hell. and it doesn't help that the main girl is always infantilized by the author and the male lead so....
So glad I didn't buy this book 🙏🏻
honestly dodged a bullet 😂
